Worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these earbuds, they are surprisingly private while maintaining a nice clear and loud sound. You can adjust the bass as well which is a plus. The design is also very beautiful. Have only had them for about 2 weeks so we will see how they hold up over time. The price is definitely steep and not justified by performance alone, but I splurged for the design and am happy with my purchase. My only concern would be with how Bose would handle repairs/ replacements especially with limited edition earbuds like the Lisa collab.
Comfortable with good sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my old soundsport earbuds for the ultra open earbuds. The ultra are very comfortable and won't come off on their own but can pop off from accidental physical contact with your hand, glasses, mask, etc. I recommend getting any color but black to make it easier to find when you drop them. I like the quality of the sound even though the street noise does come through (which it's supposed to do). These are not, nor are they meant to be, noise canceling. Walking around is a lot more fun while listening to music on these.
Switched
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. The fit is great and does not move. I can workout in them and never have to adjust. I forget I have them on. The sound quality is great for listening to music and is great for accepting calls.
Best earbuds ever!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a real hard time wearing in the ear buds. These are so comfy, stay in place with movement and have great unbelievable sound. I like being able to hear some surroundings with open bud concept. Best investment ever. Great choice of colors too. Love them!!❤️
Well thought out product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design and features. So glad to see that they are fairly compact rather than bulky given they are open earbuds. Easy to connect and wear, even my tech-adverse parents could handle. Love the sound quality without sacrificing and losing awareness of my surrounding, great for outdoors and physical activities. Also, as an add on I'm glad these are earbuds where you don’t look tacky wearing them through the office or when dressed formal.
Great earbuds
Typical Bose product. Great sound and holds a charge very well. Comfortable to wear long term. I wear them 7-8 hours in a row without any discomfort, although they need to recharge about 5 hours in. That takes 20-30 minutes tops. This is my sixth set of Bose headphones/earbuds and I have no complaints.
Bose Does It Again! Outstanding New Design!
I got these new Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 3 weeks ago. These are now my new favorites!! I have tried many different brands of earbuds over the years. Most of the top brands. Then I splurged and tried a pair of Bose several years ago and never turned back. I now have multiple Bose products and have not been disappointed in any of them. I’ve tried these in different environments. At work. At home. Outside. Riding the UTV. These are the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever worn. I have small ear canals so these are perfect for me! I’ve had them in hours at a time. The immersive audio is very unique and I was blown away at how Bose came up with a design to make it seem like the sound is projected out in front of you like a concert. Unbelievable, yet they managed to do it perfectly. The motion mode is very impressive. I would never have believed a small earbud could produce the sound that these do outside of the ear canal and the sound be manipulated to stay in one location and then move with you. The stereo mode works very well and sounds amazing. The sound, tones and clarity are very spot on. I can hear background sounds in videos like I am there with them. Bass is deep and clear. I love my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultras I have and use the noice cancellation feature often on those. Mostly when I am working and trying to block out everything so I can focus. These open concepts don’t have noise cancellation, but honestly, it doesn’t make me love them any less. I will be using these for listening to music, videos and everything else. I haven’t had any issues with these so far and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you Bose for this opportunity to enjoy another one of your revolutionary products!!
Great quality, Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very lightweight, easy to use product. Allows for modification for different audio preferences. App functions great. Immersive audio is a great added feature. Would definitely recommend for runners and other types of activity
Excellent Quality Earbuds.
I bought these recently because I needed a way to listen to music and podcasts without disturbing others. They really fit nicely and can hold a charge for quite a long time. I should mention that I have been a Bose customer since the mid-70's and have multiple versions of speakere systems, both hard wired and bluetooth. The sound wuality has and always will be excellent.
In a League of Their Own
They just are. You may balk at the lack of noise-canceling or the fact that they just “hang” on your ears… I’m here to tell you— these are amazing. A bit about me. I have tiny ears. I’m a petite woman. Even the smallest AirPods do not fit and give me a massive earache. To add “injury to insult” (yes, that was intentionally backward)… I have piercings. I have inner ear piercings on both sides. This doesn’t exactly set me up for success for earbuds. I had given up on that very idea. I have Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. But they’re not ideal for every situation. Enter these magical devices that Bose made just for me. They did, right? I’m a woman. And I'm a mom. These are two roles that typically don’t lend to many noise-cancelling opportunities. If I’m in the other room folding laundry? I WANT to hear if little Jimmy fell off the top bunk for the 3rd time today. What if he broke his arm that time? If I’m jogging the trails? I WANT to hear if a creepy guy is starting to encroach on my space and breathing heavier. Ew. These are not perfect. I’m not in sales, and I’m not about to sell you on these. There is a learning curve to putting them “on.” Especially if you have piercings, like I do. On my tragus side, there is no issue. I’m still working with my daith— the jury is out. Positioning is tricky to get comfortable on that side. From what I can tell, you cannot wear these with dangly lobe earrings or anything of that nature. But—the beautiful part is that the earbud is not exactly static. These have a ton of flexibility to them. When you get it right, it legitimately feels like you have nothing on your ear. Almost weightless. Do you have a hearing aid? This is your earbud. I’m really happy you finally have a quality product accessible to you. They hold a charge for a long time— I haven’t even been able to drain them to tell you just how long. While on the subject of charging, I will tell you that I am both surprised and disappointed that the charger is not wireless. Especially when my husband’s older Bose earbuds are. Dunno what happened there. It’s a small drawback, and I got over it… The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose…it’s excellent. The immersion mode is cool and something I enjoyed more than I thought I would. The app is great (I already had it from my Comfort Headphones, and it picked up the Ultra Open Earbuds with no problem). Phone calls? Answering calls is not intuitive to me, but that’s a non-Apple curve I’m willing to learn. Zoom calls? All good. No issues thus far. That’s it for now! If I could rate it a 4.5, I would. Since there's no in-between I rounded up because I love them. See pictures for fit with my jewelry to give you an idea of what it might look like with yours. Cheers!
