My 3 rd pair of these (unfortunately lost two. These are the best running headphones I ever had. I run quite a lot and love the sound and most importantly fit and ability to enjoy the music and still be aware of my surroundings.

I didn't think OPEN EARBUDS would have such wonderful sound; but owning 5 BOSE products;one o which is the Radio/Cassette/CD player which as you can guess' we've had for MANY YEARS and still use regularly. YES these are WONDERFUL with sound as good as any other earbuds; with the extra of being safer outdoors keeping you also aware of what's golng on around you.

Got this as a present from my dad and I love them! The sound is great, and being able to hear the sound of cars and surroundings while still blasting music while walking down the street makes me feel safe. The only complaint would be that after a few hours of wearing, they do make my ears a little sore but I love them anyways.

This is the second pair of I've purchased as the first ones wore out and were out of warranty and not worth getting fixed. I wore the previous pair almost daily for running; it is extremely humid here and the earbuds faired well.

I got these earbuds a few weeks ago and love them. It just took a couple of days to get used to the fit, but now I frequently forget they are there. The best part, however is the functionality. The morning after I got them I took a short walk through a local open space. As I was listening to music and walking I heard a different birdsong coming from a nearby tree. With my old earbuds that would not have happened. I also listen to podcasts and streaming.music in the evening when my wife prefers quiet. In the past she would have to raise her voice to get my attention. Not anymore, I hear her clearly. She commented recently that she appreciates the difference. The bass is a little degraded, but still good.

The Ultra Open Earbuds took some getting used to. I have always used in ear canal earbuds, loved my quiet comfort until they took a ride in the washing machine. The Ultra Open Earbuds are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever used. The sound quality is amazing, the available options for setup are another plus. Knowing the earbuds will not fall off has been an inviting feature.

The sound is great and they are comfortable. I haven't had them long enough yet, but the mic isn't that great for the person at the other end to hear clearly (this is my only concern so far). They definatly cancel most all of the outside noise, so far I have no problems with the battery life. I not abusive with stuff like this so I don't know about the durability yet.

I like my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds but am not sure if they are working as designed. For example, in the stereo mode, I only get noise from the left earbud and nothing in the right earbud. Is that how it is supposed to work? Also is there a way to adjust the volume on one ear bud to address hearing loss in one ear? Thanks for your help.

I am excited to have noise-canceling earbuds, and happy that there are multiple fit options. The sound quality is excellent. My biggest complaint is with "manuals." I think the user tutorials on the Bose website are geared to people who have used earbuds before, and to be honest, they assume too much knowledge on the part of a new user! The phone app is NOT intuitive, especially when trying to set up two devices. I had to rely on non-Bose YouTube tutorials to figure out the process and still am not sure I have it set up correctly. I have a 7-YO Quiet Comfort headset that is much easier to use and connects to both my iPhone and iPad at the same time - so easy! I was going to take the new earbuds with me on a European trip next month, but the confusing app and general process has convinced me to stick with the headset.

Bought this to replace/alternate with my QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. I go out for a run every morning and I would typically listen to podcasts and some occasional music. The immersion mode is great for music but for podcasts, I really don't need the noise cancellation feature especially when running. In comes the Open earbuds - and they are great! I don't miss anything and I have awareness of my surroundings. It works perfectly. The clip is comfortable and even when running, I don't have any concerns of it falling off at different paces of the run. I haven't verified how long the battery lasts but it seems the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds sustains longer. Also, I like the swiping up and down for the volume control in lieu of the button control. Swiping gives you a better control of the volume. Just being picky. Both devices are not really the best for phone calls but it will do.
