Volume is to low, for both receiver and transmitter. Phone calls barley picks up my voice. I am not heard clearly on other end of phone call. In public the receiver is to low in hearing voice calls, listening to podcast and talk radio. In my house the music sounds fantastic, however it’s at the highest volume level. I’ve played w the various headphone settings, EQ, etc to raise the volume so I could use outdoors. Inside the cabin of a car, plane and gym cannot use, to low... in a public gym it’s useless due to the surrounding gym noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my earbuds two weeks ago and just love them. It took a minute for me to put them in, but once they were in I could hardly believe the sound that came out of them. With them being Bose I expected them to be great but wow. They are so comfortable to wear. I've really searched for an open earbud and now my search is over. I look forward to many good years with these earbuds. I did take a minute to adjust them but after that it was pure joy.

I think these earbuds are great, great sound quality, great fit and very good noise cancelation. I was just disappointed that I could not trade in my old pair to get these. I am a loyal Bose fan, have been for years, that's why I was so disappointed they would not except trade ins for this product.

Love these so far. I cannot use in-ear buds as they dont stay in. These are the only earbuds I've found that stay on my ear, lightweight and comfortable. I was shocked with the sound quality. Good battery life as I've used them about a dozen times and still full.

I hate having my ears plugged with earbuds. I saw these, bought them and just love them. They have a beautiful sound when I watch TV and I’m not blocking out the rest of the world so I can hear the kids talk or the dog bark or whatever. Just what I needed and wanted.

I am overall happy with these earbuds, but there are a couple of small issues I’ve noticed. In-ear earbuds always hurt my ears, and I don’t want to wear over-ear headphones at work because I don’t want them to impede my hearing of my surroundings. So these are perfect for that! However, a couple of times, one or the other bud has difficulty connecting. And when pausing and playing media, the buds lag at different speeds, so one will start playing and then the other, and it’s jarring.

I love them! Very light weight; i frequently forgtlet that I have them on. Great battery life. The volume isn't an issue like I was concerned it would be (they get plenty loud). Easy controls via the buttons on top of each bud. Overall, I'm very happy with my product.

Almost perfect. Fit/security: 10 out of 10 All day comfort: 10 out of 10 Sound: 10 out of 10 Style: 10 out of 10 But the one most frustrating thing about these earbuds is the microphone. I have to use my phone anytime I have a call because the bud's microphone is beyond terrible. It feels foolish to have my phone to my ear with earbuds in, but they are completely useless for audio. Truly unfortunate because other than that these are perfect. I hope they fix it in future generations. I almost sent them back.

I was looking for something to be able to use for my long runs, work place ambiance, and working around the home. Honestly, I feel like these give me everything I was looking for while providing the great sound Bose is known for. For my runs, these stay in my ear even when I am sweating and bouncing around. The open design also allows me to keep attention on what's going on around me. Vehicles driving by or people trying to talk to me. For the work place, I can sit on my computer and get work done with some entertainment be it music or audio books. Co-workers do not notice that I am listening to music due to me being able to communicate back and carry on with work. The sound stays in my ear without being loud around me. For working around the house, these are great when using my power tools or when mowing the lawn. My attention can be kept to the sounds going on around me and still listen to music. The only downside is I can still hear my wife tell me what else needs to be done around the house. The app has a few settings to help customize your experience depending on what you like. Quick and easy EQ settings, Auto volume, and so on. Other benefits, I really like that my ear canals are not feeling stretched out as they have with other earbuds. It has allowed me to wear them up to 10 hours in a single day with great comfort. If you're looking for earbuds that are great all around and amazing sound then these are the ones for you!

I have been wearing my Ultra Open EarBuds for a few weeks now and I love them. Sound quality is what I expect from Bose products and it did not disappoint. The earbuds are so light in the ears. I forget I have them on at times. They are very attractive and I have received many compliments. I have the white pair. It took a few wears to get used to putting them on since I have long curly hair but well worth it when I got the hang of it.
