I have been wearing them for about 4 months now. They are much more comfortable than any others I have worn. They are great for walks when you still might need to be aware of your surroundings. Great in stores, but in my gym the music is often loud and the volume just can't get loud enough (but I am also getting a little hard of hearing). By far the most comfortable though. I have forgotten that I had them on!

First I was hesitant to purchase the item because of too many competition. I was completely satisfied how Bose designed this ultra open earbuds, very light and the sound is perfect for being an open earbuds. The fit was excellent, no worry of losing it while working out or doing physical workouts. Highly recommended !!!

I’ve owned probably close to 40 different Bluetooth headphones/earbuds throughout the years, but this one definitely is in the top 3. The ear lobe placement is actually extremely comfortable, although it took a little while for me to get used to it. These earbuds get fairly loud but because they’re not located in your ear canal, it’s actually perfect. I do a lot of public running and exercising and need to be able to hear my surroundings. This unit allows me to enjoy my music and still be aware of everything around me. The battery life is good leaving me with zero complaints and the Bluetooth connection is extremely strong and I connected easily 30 feet away from my phone. I realize this design is a little different for some people, but if you keep an open mind, I promise it will surprise you. Definitely the wave of the future because I’ve never liked earbuds that go in the ear canal as it quickly starts to hurt me. Highly recommend!

In my line of work I jave to be willing to conversate with anyone who may need help. I have read brothers complaint about sound quality. I think the sound is great. Considering the style of headphone. I enjoy them. Use them every day.

I took the leap and got these buds. I forget they are on most of the time. I walk around the office and workout in them as well. Feel secure on my ear. Sound is amazing & can switch beware 3 listening modes.

I forget I have them.on when I'm not listening to them and when they are playing the sound quality is unmatched! The controls are easy to master and the build is awesome. Bose has done it again.

I especially like the security of being able to listen to audio without anyone being able to see that, and to be fully aware of my surroundings. They also fit my ears better so I don’t feel like they are going to pop out at any time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Bose Ultra Open Ear Buds about a month ago, and I am not pleased at all with their performance. I can barely hear the music when there is background noise around. When I 'm in a super-silent area, I have to turn the volume all the way to the maximum setting to enjoy the music at a reasonable level.

Bose is synonymous for quality. And, while the Bose Ultra Earbuds are definitely quality, there are drawbacks that could drive some away. While the small, sleek design is lightweight and comfortable to wear, putting them on can be a sometimes quirky and tedious process. Sound quality for videos is solid, but phone call volume is low (even cranked all the way up), and bleed from background noise can hinder some conversations. Audio for music is clear, but don't expect much bottom-end (bass) at all. Unfortunately, it's just not there. Also, the "Immersive Audio" is nice, but it drains the battery at an alarming rate. With it off, you're getting about seven and a half hours to eight hours. With it on however, you're getting between four to four and a half hours. For someone, like me, who wears them while working, it feels like as soon as your put them on, your battery is low, and they need to be re-charged. Maybe this can be fixed in a future firmware update. One can only hope. All in all, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are very nice, there is absolutely no doubt about it. But, the audio idiosyncrasies and inconsistences, middling battery life (with "Immersive Audio" on), and lack of depth in features could be just off-putting enough to keep some consumers at arm's length.
