The reception is too quite for loud or busy areas. I get way better call quality with cheaper headsets. I expected more. All in all I'm going to keep them, since they do work well without worrying they'll fall off.

Wearing them over 8 hours at work and have not experienced any discomfort. Sound is as expected from Bose, well balanced and have no issues. Sound quality during phone calls has been trouble free. I have not had any connectivity issues so far. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

The battery last longer than most other earbuds and can be used one at a time (most earbuds can only use the right by itself). My only complaints are that they are pricey and a single earbud cannot be replaced if you were to lose one. Sound quality is pretty good for open ear design and I have yet to find better sound from any other open earbuds. With the app, you can also change some of the settings and I would say you're only getting half your money's worth without it.

From the moment I opened these earbuds up I was completely impressed. The fit, finish and feel of these Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are just as wonderful as any other Bose product. The sound quality blew me away. Initially, I wasn't sure what to expect with this open ear design but I think Bose got it right. Pairing these to my iPhone was super simple and in no time, I was listening to music after unboxing them. I have Bose speakers that I use for listening to music and podcasts while at home and work but the Ultra Open Earbuds are my first Bose headphones or earbuds. I was immediately impressed by the full bodied and robust sound. The Ultra Opens are controlled and updated through the Bose Music which I found to be intuitive and a nice way to control the features. I typically only use earbuds while doing outside work such as cutting grass or splitting wood but I found myself using these more than I have other earbuds. I literally just put them on and lived my life. I recommend these to anyone that has fit issues with other typical in ear earbuds. After the first 20 minutes of using the Ultra Opens I forgot I was wearing them. They're very lightweight and comfortable and I didn't experience any fatigue or discomfort after wearing them for nearly three straight hours. Also, they have some moisture resistance but DO NOT submerge them. The Immersion Mode is a wonderful feature to have at this premium price point. It made me feel like I was at a live performance. I assume due to the open ear design, noise cancelling isn't a feature of these earbuds but honestly I don't care. The sound quality is that phenominal and it allows you to still be aware of your surroundings. For that reason, I recommend these to parents and caretakers that need to be able to hear outside of your own little sound cocoon. I can also see the benefits these would have for city dwellers or anyone that walks or exercises near traffic or crowded places. You can still be aware of what's going on around you without sacrificing great sound. I probably won't use these to cut grass or work around any loud machinery, but I don't see any other situation where these won't be my go to earbud. I just love that I can put them in and forget them. They have increased my use of earbuds. The only "cons" for me aren't even real dealbreakers. They don't have any sort of tracking feature in case of loss or theft. I have a pretty good history of not losing expensive items (fingers crossed while I knock on wood). Also, the case doesn't have wireless charging. In my experience, that is okay because the battery life has been phenomenal in the case and the individual earbuds. Wireless case charging and tracking would be wonderful convenience features to have but the sound quality, ease of use and comfort of the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds make up for those omissions.

My ENT, ear doctor, recommended I research earbuds that do not fit snugly inside my ear canal, creating a seal and blocking the ear canal instead recommending earbuds that sit on the outer part of my ear. The open-ear design is perfect & incredibly comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my music, books and phone conversations while still staying aware of my surroundings and not irritating my ear canals. The sound quality is fantastic—rich, clear, and immersive, just as you'd expect from Bose. The fit is super comfortable—I forget I’m even wearing them. They stay securely in place, even during workouts, bike rides or long walks, and the build quality feels premium. If you're looking for great audio, all-day comfort, and an open-ear experience, I highly recommend these earbuds!

They have the best sound experience ever like your live at a concert, and yet you can still stay in the game with your surroundings and hear goings on around you......if you desire. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound is phenomenal! For open-ear buds, I didn’t expect the sound quality of buds with ANC, but I was surprised!! If I want more sound to drown out small nearby conversations, I can do that. If I want to continuously hear around me, I can set a lower volume. These are great for listening to my fav team play while out walking or for music to walk by and still hear approaching vehicles or barking dogs. The buds charge lasts a lot longer than expected, and the case recharges the buds very quickly. I wear mine so much now and love them! If you don’t need noise cancelling, these are your go to!!

As a college student with ear problems, these are nearly the perfect pair of earbuds for me. The open design allows my ears to breathe and fits comfortably on the lobe of my ear without falling off. (I have done vigorous shaking and headbanging tests on them and THEY DID NOT MOVE.) The bass is really nice and the sound is immersive despite not providing any noise canceling. Also, I can hear everything around me which makes it easy to walk around campus safely with them on. My only concern is that mine will randomly disconnect from my devices out of nowhere and I’m not sure why.
