They do their own laundry and with the wifi messaging they are more prompt in getting their stuff out of the dryer. It's quiet for a dryer and the steam function is great for when you are in a hurry and just want to get wrinkles out.

Our only regret is that we did not purchase the pedestals which we intend to order after the necessary modifications are made to accommodate the additional height requirements.'Installation only took about 30-minutes. Everything exceeded our expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this LG gas dryer and matched washer 3 weeks ago when our 15 year old Kenmore Elite dryer failed & parts were no longer available. Dryer works well after I mastered the learning curve & am pleased with the various options...adjustable heat, adjustable dryness levels, etc. Clothes come out dry & wrinkle free. Must say the directions that come with the dryer could be improved. The instructions for connecting the WiFi feature are NOT accurate & NOT doable. Will need to call LG direct to accomplish connecting the WiFi feature. Would not purchase if you have a need for the Wi Fi remote operation feature.

We purchased this a few weeks ago. We don't use all the features but are happy with the ones that we do use. The one thing we don't like is that there's no ability to change the sound played at the end of the cycle. We'd prefer a simple few beeps to the tune that seems to go on for too long.

With so many settings, your normal temperature, time dry, and sensor dry but also there are so many types of cycles: normal, heavy duty, delicates, permanent press, speed, air, bedding, antibacterial, steam sanitary, and steam fresh. They also have a WiFi option which I have yet checked out because I haven't felt the need to. A little thing I love is that when you power on the machine a light turns on inside so you can see your load. Another part I like I how the lint filter fits perfectly into the slot! I am enjoying using the machine, from clothes to my queen sized comforter it has gotten the job done first time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our gas dryer with the LG electric dryer and we are happy we did so.The LG dryer works faster, dries better and our clothes do not come out stiff. The steam feature is excellent and we have used it often for quick fresh ups. I am glad we made the switch to electric as I feel we spend less time drying clothes.The connectivity features are excellent and helpful so that we do not need to check when the clothes are dry; the machine tells us via our smartphone. The unit is neat and compact and fit perfectly in our laundry alcove along with the LG washer. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First new machine - used to old school very simple ones in the past. the screen and settings at first appear overwhelming, but after a little reading, testing and observation it's really quite simple! Basic app lets you see settings and time left no matter where you are, which is a little helpful.

I love that the dryer and washer talk to each other so that I don’t have to input the dryer settings. The app is also user friendly. It dries in half the time of my previous dryer and notifies me on my phone and watch when the cycle is finished, so that my laundry doesn’t sit in the dryer. It also has a wrinkle care setting in case I can’t get to the dryer immediately.

If I could rate this a 0, I would. Got A BRAND NEW one and BRAND NEW duct/coil setup and have done Everything possible to try and get this junk working. It hasn't and won't run a load without erroring out on something that isn't an issue. PLEASE listen to me when I say stay FAR away from LG Dryers. And if you don't believe me then research it yourself. So many people are having the same issues. It's the WORST purchase I've ever made..
