After seeing all the negative posts I had to respond with how much I disagree. Maybe it depends on your cat? I'm not sure, but my healthy 4 and 7 year old kitties have no problems with this litter. Their litter box is literally right next to my toilet. Not only does it never stink, it is like an air freshener for the bathroom. It smells so good, even when I need to clean the box, which I do about every other day. I've tried a ton of different litters and this is by far my favorite. When I pick my cats up to hold them they even smell fresh like Glade! It's great! Oh, and it clumps tight every time! Great product, great price! All I ever buy!

We have 3 cats and have recently started buying this because its a better buy then our old brand.  One of our cats is having an allergic reaction to it. She is constantly licking, scratching and pulling her fur out leaving big sores on her body. Her sister won't use the litter boxes at all. Our male is not having any issues with it. While it smells good in the pail and does clump, it does not mask the litterbox smells even with scooping the boxes everyday. We still have some left but I'm trashing it and switching back to our old litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a sensitive nose and was worried the scent would be overpowering. It was not,it’s a light scent and smells good. I have a 13 years old cat and a cat that’s a year old. Between the both of them the litter held up well ask long as I scooped daily. My older cat doesn’t like to bury her business so it can get stinky fast but with this litter it wasn’t as bad.

I have tried all the clumping litters over the years. we have had many cats, but only one box cleaner-me. amazing how that works. This is a good litter, decent odor control, great clumping, and minimal dust. I cannot afford this litter anymore and have found a cheaper one that is just as good.

The new Glad scent last a long time and isn't overpowering. I have used Tidy Cats for many years, and now prefer this one over the others. They have also improved the clumping ability of their product. I own 4 cats, so I always get the 35 lb container. The Glade Tough odor litter has the gray lid, so it's easy to distinguish from their other types. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

As someone with 17 cats I use a lot of litter and am always looking for the next best thing in odor control. I tried this new version for a few months usually using 2 of the 28lb containers aweek. It was ok but it really lacks the odor control of even the original clumping Tidy cat. I use Tidy exclusivly but have found the 2 best version that do what you want are the Dual action version and the Power Blend. I had high hopes for the Glade mix but the scent isnt that great and its oder or scent does not last but maybe a day or 2. Im still a Tidy cat fan but not so much this mix.

Easy to pour into the litter boxes and smells great right outside the box. I let my cats do their thing. I have 3 older cats and they didn't seem to mind the change of litter. The litter isn't sand like, it tiny rocks so very minimal tracking outside the litter box. The litter kept from the boxes smelling quickly and I didn't notice any smell coming from it until I cleaned them. But with three cats it did a pretty good job! Easy to clean with a scooper, it clumped great without using too much litter. I can see this lasting quite a while.

I bought one bucket of this variety because the red lidded and blue lidded litters didn't control odors very well. My cats adapted to the scent right away.
