Very disappointed with the new packaging of this product. I bought this litter ONLY because Sam's Club stopped carrying the Member's Mark litter. I opened the box tonight expecting to find two 20-pound jugs. Instead, I found a box full of litter. REALLY BAD IDEA, Purina! Not only does it make it harder for me to get the product inside because I can't open the box and carry the 20-pound jugs in separately, but do you know what will happen with an open cardboard box with litter in it? My cats will use the open box of fresh litter as their litter box, and that cardboard will leak. I am now going to have to buy a plastic container with a lid on it to put the clean litter in, and since the 40-pound box is too heavy to lift, I will have to scoop it into the bin one scoop at a time. Not practical or convenient AT ALL. You really didn't think this through.

Reasonably prices

Controls odor nicely, tight clumping and low dust. Recommended. The only thing I don't like is the way the package opens. If you don't open it wide enough it comes out very slowly, and if you open it too wide you can't pick up the box without it feeling like the top is going to tear off.

Almost five stars!!!! Keep in mind, we buy this almost exclusively for our household of two cats. It is a super product. We buy multiple boxes when it goes on sale. One star is deducted because it does track outside of the litter box, and sometimes the dust is inconsistent (some boxes have a lot of dust and some do not, although we saw a big improvement in dust in the past 5 months or so of use). For the price and quality, we will continue to buy! No one can tell we have cats or where the litter box is (no smells). If we never used another competitors product called clump and seal, it would be 5 stars. In fact, I feel bad not giving it 5 stars….. as we always purchase and use. And, we will continue to buy because of the great value!

I've tried a lot of litters but this is the only brand that my cats don't spend half their time flinging it out of the litterbox. They go in,do their business, and come out. There is some tracking but not nearly as much as with other litters. I like that there isn't any plastic with these boxes. Now, if only there was a purpose the used litter could be utilized for...

I normally use a Fresh Step cat litter from Sam’s but they were out of it so I had to get this. The clumps break up into a million pieces (hyperbole yes, but so it seems) as I am scooping, leaving loads of urine particles in the litter which are difficult to remove. The smell of the litter combined with my cat’s urine is nauseating.
