I have a front loader and for some reason the pods don’t dissolve totally sometimes so that is why I only gave it a 4 star…I love how clean the clothes usually are and how fresh they smell…so as I said … a few times the pod didn’t totally dissolve but I am thinking it’s my machine…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a few weeks now and I normally use much more natural versions like soap nuts so it is Handy to have a different kind once in a while because soap nuts can sometimes end up building up the residue on things like towelsmaking them start to repel water after a while I usually combat this by just washing them with soap nuts and then rinsing them without the soap nuts but once in a while it's nice to be able to have something different to wash in. It seems to work really well against every day normal dirt that gets on our clothes. But in my opinion it has a very strong fragrance but I am not a fan of most of the fragrances on most laundry detergents. I really prefer ones without a smell.

It has great washing power, leaving clothes looking and smelling fresh and clean. Love the larger bottles, as they last longer, and a little goes a long way, allowing for more loads. Tide is a very reputable brand that is a great quality, that I can count on to get the job done right the first time.

It smells great too, strong but it's not overpowering. It's been keeping my laundry so fresh & so clean and I have two boys and a husband (so really three)!. Thx Tide!

Ok, this will be a little lengthy but stay with me and hear me out. I've been using Tide laundry products for over 40 years and I was around when liquids came on the market and I used them so I know what the fragrance was like back then. When I first started using the liquid Tide in the early 90s it had a unique but simple fragrance which smelled just like a strong soap. Then as the years progressed, people complained that they didn't like their clothes smelling like "laundry soap" so the era of "fruity, floral, disgraceful scents" was born and every detergent manufacturer followed that trend and folks were happy but I was not so I went back to powder AND another brand. Then folks got tired of of heady, headache inducing aroma of "flowers and sweet tarts" recently and wanted something else; hence it seems that Tide has reverted back to the old scent of Tide liquid with just a few minor adjustments to the fragrance. I decided to try it and I was very surprised to find that it had that old familiar soap smell with just a hint of "perfume" but not the sickeningly sweet fragrance from just a short time ago. When the proper amount is used per load of laundry, clothes come out of the dryer with just enough fragrance to notice but not enough to overwhelm you. In conclusion; each generation that gets introduced to Tide's line of laundry products will always have some gripe or compliment. Those of us who were around when the original scent of the powder and later the liquid are really the ones who notice how much or little the scent has changed over the years. P.S. The only reason I gave 4-stars for value is due to the price still being one of highest among laundry detergents but still pretty good since I'm still getting Tide's signature clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide detergent has always been one of my favorite laundry soaps. I appreciate how fresh my family's clothes smell and how soft it keeps my fabrics. My skin does not get irritated when we use Tide which is great, as I have sensitive skin. The fact that I can use Tide in my HE washing machine and not have to use a special detergent is awesome! Tide continues to be one of the top detergent brands in my eyes!
