There's no need to waste time, energy, and water to rewash soiled items with this, it gets it out in one wash! The fragrance is very intense, though. Besides having a strong scent when you first open the bottle, the scent definitely lingers for days after washing. And it's even stronger when you need to delicate wash some items. I washed some clothes on delicate with a different detergent with its own scent, and Tide's scent still overrode it. Just something to clearly note if you're sensitive to odors. Otherwise, I like this much better performance-wise.

I am a life long user of Tide products. Currently, I am very disapointed with the new shape of the 110 load 2X ultra Tide for front loaders with 170 fl oz, 1.32 gal. container. After pouring into my Bosh detergent dispenser drayer, I have to find some thing to wipe out the cap and to wipe the storage area on the container. Love the original scent, storage is ok, and hate the container and measuring cup.

I do prefer specific scented detergents but found I liked the familiar Tide smell. It is a quality product and our clothing feels soft, fresh and clean. I would definitely use Tide again if there were lower costs or more savings when buying this product.

I miss the actual original scent, that smelled clean and fresh. The scent now smells like floral perfume. My family has all noticed and we have switched to Arm and Hammer Fresh Scent- it smells more like Tide Original than Tide Original itself. Its unfortunate because it is effective- but the scent is just not the same.
