This pool has been so much fun for our family this summer. I will say it takes some time to make sure you know how to take care of chemicals etc. overall the setup was fairly easy but read the instructions all the way through prior to starting.

Easy setup for 2 people. We replaced a 14 year old 18'x9'x54" ultra frame pool with this pool. Hope it gives us as many years as the last one.

Great pool. We have a smaller yard so this pool is ideal for the space. Shipping was quick and easy, came earlier than expected. The pool comes in two boxes which are clearly marked with all the parts inside each box which made it easy to setup! Looks like all the neighbors will be heading over to our house for some swimming!

I believe we got one someone had already tried to put together and returned. The box was destroyed on one end and some spring clips were messed up so the corners didnt snap together. My husband started setting up the pool after putting down sand even though I told him the instructions said not to. We had to drain it and start over, so don't try it, it won't work. He duct taped the corners before telling me about the problem, so the warranty was void, that didn't work either. My pool corners are now screwed together and I hope the plastic doesn't split apart when we try to put it together next year. You know the moral to this story right? The weather turned rainy & cold so I haven't been swimming yet. Looking forward to a nice warm day so I can try it out.

I purchased this in May as my first pool purchase. I am mostly excited about it and use it almost daily this summer after work and on the weekends. I had two issues with the pool since then. One is that the inner white plastic joint corner pieces - the inner tab on two pieces broke. I emailed INTEX with receipt and asked for replacement. THERE WAS NO REPLY> This was when I first received the pool in May and was setting it up. Second issue: The pool filter is not sufficient for this size pool. I used the regular pool filter with salt water system that I purchased separately and it did not sufficiently work with keeping the pool clean. So, about a month later, I purchased a INTEX saltwater pump and cholorinator that a mininum gallons for this pool. It is a QX2100. STRONGLY recommended for this pool to keep it clean with other minor brushes, nets, etc. The pool is long enough to do some swimming underwater, back floats, and play basketball. I wish that it was deeper as the 3.5 feet seems small to me.

It seems like a good pool. The main worry we have is that sructurally as shown it the picture, the thing holding all the water in is the top sewed fabric and not the poles. the poles only hold up the fabric and not the sides where the water does bulge. Price was ok except the hose clamps were missing defeating the sale price since they are about 4.00 a piece and we needed 6. Pump /Filter runs strong so far. We bought mainly because of the shape, fits our location perfectly.

Had a big problem with one of the arms in the corners made very difficult and I had to take it apart and reassemble it

LOVED this pool but would have never gotten had I known upfront that you have to drain, out in garage EVERY season. Didn't get around to putting in garage it this last season and the pool now had a large tear in it. Mind you, I live in Southern California where temps rarely get below freezing but company said I STILL need to take down every year. I only got it swim in it 2-3x. Other comparable pools allow you to winterize.

This pool is made of cheap materials. It will rot and become a hazard. I contacted Intex customer service, and the representative confirmed multiple times that my pool was still under warranty. Based on that confirmation and the representative’s promise that I would receive replacement parts, I proceeded to empty the pool (4,800 gallons of water) and fully disassemble it to provide photos of the damaged, rotten frame. As shown in the pictures, the frame is a hazard to my family. Today, 5/5/2026, I received an email stating that my claim was rejected because the warranty is no longer active. This directly contradicts what the representative confirmed to me several times before I did all the required work. When I questioned this, customer service responded only with “sorry for the inconvenience” and refused to take responsibility. I am requesting assistance in receiving the parts that were promised. Intex has all the evidence, as all communication was done through chat. They also refused to connect me with a supervisor, stating that the outcome would be the same. This situation is unacceptable. I followed all instructions in good faith based on information provided by Intex. The error is on their side, not mine.

No ground cloth was in the box. The pump will not stay running, runs for a little while then shuts down. Instruction manual says call an electrician because it is probably your outlet that is the problem. Basically, Go through an act of congress to get them to send you a replacement.
