I bought this last month and am happy with it's performance. It was easy to install and works as expected.

We've had this fridge for a few days and we are liking it so far. I do have to say that I was hesitant to buy an LG product due to the constant problems we had with LG washing machine. Time will tell.

I purchased but have not yet received this refrigerator. My previous LG refrigerator (LFX3195ST) had a folding shelf which was very convenient for tall bottles and 2L milk cartons. I will truly miss this option. I am wondering if it is possible to purchase a folding shelf for my new model LRFS28XBS. Any information, part# etc., you can provide would be very much appreciated.

Overall liking the fridge so far. Considerations for consumers and opportunities for improvement for LG include: 1. Too much temperature variation throughout cavernous refrigerator section, confirmed using thermometers. Needs better distribution of cold air throughout 2. Cold air escapes fast - need to get in and get out. Discovered the need to set both refrigerator and freezer sections down as low they will go to maintain temperatures. 3. One of the refrigerator doors could use a more thoughtful storage compartment/space for small items. Prior fridge had a "junk drawer" in a door higher shelf that was perfect. 4. Ice compartment on the small size considering the overall size of this fridge. Also an annoying thing we have discovered is the right size of the ice storage compartment must get a little warmer, and the ice there tends melt a little then clump together and won't drop when distributing ice cubes from the external door. Requires going into the ice compartment door every few days if we think about it and break up the ice, which commonly causes us to scrape our hand knuckles on the tight space in the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new refrigerator, however, it was a lot of extra trouble getting it up and running and cost us extra dollars. Once it was set up, the store gave us a generous credit for our troubles, which was nice. The LG fridge is everything I wanted, the only problem being that the upper door does not shut automatically, we have to make sure we push it closed.

Never buy this product! 6 months old device has a problem. Huge noise, I can here it in all rooms in my house. Support said I have to defrost it manually. Is it a joke? I had my old fridge and never had this noise. After this I received an error code in LG application (Fan Motor) and support said - it's a normal, you have to defrost manually again. Looks like I have to avoid to buy LG at all with this support and customer care. Thank you LG!

This fridge has been nothing but problems. The craft ice maker broke 2x within the first 2 years. The standard ice maker broke once immediately after the 2 year warranty. Once replaced we then had to lower the water pressure to where it would take forever to get water. Lastly, the right door has never remained closed unless you push hard on it so not ideal when you have children. It has been extremely frustrating to experience all of these problems in the 3 yrs that we have owned it, especially at this price point. I would advise that you thoroughly conduct your research before making a big purchase like this.

Well built stylish appliance. Water and ice through the door is a nice feature and it works without dripping. Two small issues, one the doors close very firmly and causes the unit to slip backwards the other is that both doors have to be opened to access the cold cut/eggs draw.
