Slow Interface

I bought this tv yesterday and the picture and sound quality was impressive but it had a major downside, the user interface is horribly slow and doesn’t respond to your commands properly, Tubi app gets the whole tv to freeze up, super frustrating especially it’s a 2023 model but doesn’t feel like one.

Love this LG TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV after kicking cable to the curb! It has been flawless at streaming shows. I have been using numerous Apps on the TV and easily can add a new app if I want to do so. Love it. Turned around and bought another LG TV different size and style.

Hi Detmac, thanks for sharing your experience with the 86UR8000AUA. Cutting the cord can feel like a big shift, so it’s great to hear your LG TV has made streaming effortless. Smooth performance across multiple apps — plus the ability to add new ones whenever you want — really makes the whole experience feel flexible and modern. And the fact that you went back and picked up another LG TV says a lot. #LifesGood ❤️ If you ever need support, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. LG Digital Care Team ^Rich

Picture quality is good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find the menu very annoying, the way one has to move around to select Roku or the DVD player. And I object to the "necessity" to have all data of how and what one watches collected and moved on to who knows who, the should be an option only for someone who really want that!

can't stream video from NAS

I am dumbfounded that I am unable to stream video from my NAS to my TV. My "dumb" Vizio TV could do this. I am returning the TV. I can't believe that this simple feature that has been around for years is not present. I guess I'm going to buy a Samsung, Vizio, or TCL TV

Size is great, Tv isn't

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this TV about a month ago and have had horrible experiences with it. Updates won't apply to system, Apps channels won't load. We are signed out of apps weekly. The system will boot back to the home page for no reason. It takes several minutes for a page to load only to be told there is no internet when we are using the internet. If we hadn't destroyed the box already it would be returned to the store.

Avoid this TV, Mediocre at best.

I bought the TV yesterday, just set it up. The Good: - Interface is responsive The Bad: -Viewing angles are horrible, washed out if not right in front of TV. -Worst remote I have ever used. It would be going back but my wife says it's good enough for her craft room, it's only for background noise when crafting. It's also for her game cube and nintendo, where she is right in front of it.

not configurable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] picture and sound are just ok, I haven't found a way to make the picture brighter or the sound (voice) louder, everything is controlled by AI supposedly but it doesn't seem to work properly. and when I turn the TV off then back on, I wish it would go to the home screen instead of going to Sling all the time.

Nice TV with an awkward hard to use remote

Bought this TV online on Black Friday 2023. All in all it’s been a very good TV. The picture quality is decent and the colors look nice and bright. The biggest downside is the “magic” remote which is awkward, touchy and a bit of a pain to use. If we had gone in the store and actually seen and tried out this remote, we would have probably chosen a different LG model without this “magic” remote or a different brand.

Art Gallery mode in LG 65UR8000AUA

We have had the LG 65UR8000AUA for a number of years and are very happy with it. We are looking to get a new TV and are looking at the LG OLED65C4. We like the art gallery mode and was wondering if this mode is also available on our current LG 65UR8000AUA model.

Hey Gene. It’s great to hear that you’ve been loving your LG 65UR8000AUA! The LG OLED65C4 is an excellent choice for your next upgrade—especially with its stunning self-lit OLED picture quality and Art Gallery Mode, which transforms your screen into a beautiful display of artwork when not in use. Your current LG TV is a fantastic 4K UHD LED TV, but it does not feature the same Art Gallery Mode found in LG’s OLED models. If you’re looking for the ultimate combination of performance and design, the OLED65C4 is definitely a fantastic upgrade. Check it out here: https://shorturl.at/4jUc1. You can even connect with one of our live agents to get an exclusive deal just for you! Let us know if you have any other questions—we’re here to help! #LifesGood 🎨✨^David

Point and click feature works like a mouse.

Bought this a few days ago to take acrylic painting tutorials on YouTube. Needed a sharp picture for close up pictures. Pictures are perfect and having a built in mouse on the remote makes it fast to move around the apps. No more sequential clicking to reach subject matter. Using this as a monitor and a TV is fantastic either way you look at it. Very happy so far.
