I bought this in advance of the holidays because we had pet accidents in the past that, while cleaned up by hand, left me with the lingering feeling that a good deep down cleaning would be the wiser thing to do. This machine does a great job of a more thorough cleaning especially when the cleaner is boosted by the oxi additive. It is not too light which is actually a good thing when it comes to sucking up the dirty water. I am pleased with the results.

Used this for the first time not impressed with it when you push button for dry with suction only it does not do this right away also you have to empty waste water to often . It is not even full when the flashing blue light comes on. Tomorrow i will try to clean one more room if it keeps doing what it did today I will return it and go back to my. Bissel machine

I have a Bissell, and I thought it was doing a good job. But because I had back surgery, I needed something that was lighter, not so heavy. Boy did I have a good idea. This cleaner is absolutely wonderful. I’ve never used a cleaner that once the carpet dried I didn’t have to go back and re-clean areas with worse than normal stains. This cleaner is absolutely wonderful.

Received replacement haven't had a chance to try it yet hoping it lasts longer than the first one if it does that will be fantastic, because the first one only lasted twice. But hey I recieved a replacement so that's a plus it took a while but it happen. I'll update this after the holidays

Love this machine. Cleans well, light enough I can navigate it. The pet stain striker definitely makes life easier. I have 2 dogs and stuff just happens. I want to add that the service from the company was great. My original one stopped spraying after 6 months. Called the company, we did a one way video trouble shoot in real time, that day. We could not 'fix' it. The company didn't miss a beat. Sent a replacement that day. Great machine, great warranty (5 years) great company support. Doesn't get much better. This cleans better than the professional cleaning I'd had dome 3 months before I purchased this. Well worth the $.

Awesome carpet cleaner. Got all our stains, dirt and all up. Especially with the hand held wand. It cleans the carpets and lifts them back to life. It does use a lot of the water and soap. You can probably get one room per fill and drain with it. So, order lots of extra soap for it.

I bought this a few weeks ago and since we just the bathroom remodeled thus leaving stains on the carpet. I thought there was no way the carpet would come clean. Boy l, was I wrong! The Shark Carpet Cleaner worked wonders... I won't say the carpet looks brand new but it looks amazing. The orie they charge for the machine is worth every penny.

If you are trying to deep clean a large living room carpet, it may be a little harder to use because the tank is smaller than an industrial cleaner. I bought this when I saw it advertised on an infomercial. I have had a shark vacuum for a long time. And knew how good it works. My BISSELL carpet cleaner didn't do that good of a job, and leaked water on the carpet.. So I thought I would buy this, advertised as even getting a steam mop for free. So I did. But the steam mop didn't show up. I had screen shots of what I ordered and contacted Shark, they good willed me a steam mop, and I should get this soon. I liked the cleaner so much. I ordered the best pet vacuum they had and also a stick vacuum for my bird room. So for being so nice of a company, they got four sales from me.
