I just received this and used it on my 9x12 half black and half white rug that my 4 dogs are CONSTANTLY on. I normally have it professionally cleaned 2-3x/year, but I got sick of paying for it and purchased this product in hopes that I could start cleaning it every other month. I can't believe how well this worked. I only had to go over it ONE time and it was sparkling white in all the white areas just like when it's professionally cleaned. The dry time was even better than the professional clean as well. I am a highly satified customer

I've had this carpet shampooer for approximately 2 years now. I absolutely love it. It far exceeds my previous carpet shampooer. I felt inclined to write a review after I used my small handheld unit on some dog vomit and the stain remained. However, when I pulled out my shark it did the job! Always really impressed by how well it works and how easy it is to use!!!! Which is a huge bonus in my eyes.

This carpet cleaner is phenomenal. I cleaned my entire second floor with it, and the tank was full of black water. I never could guess what was gonna come out of my carpet and boy was disgusted. I can’t wait to do it again it’s very satisfying to see how clean your carpets can be with this incredible product!!!

Bought this based on numerous testing sites. I must say the suction is fantastic. The first thing I cleaned were 50 chair cushions at a banquet facility. The water was filthy. Granted a few old stains did not come out. I did not use the oxygen cleaner because I wanted to use it at home. The suction power rivals that of rug doctor or Bissell rentals. Today I'm tackling the couch!!

I love this shampooer it works great except for the hand heard part of have work but once. It runs you can feel it trying to pump it the shampoo from the tub but nothing comes out. I still use it upright. I need to contact shark to see about getting that part fixed but just haven't had time. Best I've ever used when it comes to cleaning carpets.

We bought the EX205 model of this machine a few years ago and it's mediocre if I'm being honest. One perk is how easy it is to disassemble to clean but results and usage are eh. Looking back I do think we would've been much better off putting the money we spent on this towards a more robust machine with a stream option.

It's cleans well but has a lot of design flaws. I do like the suction power it pull the dirt out the bottom of the rug. the waters be black . I hate the hose location it keeps falling every time you bump into the sofa or wall .they need to make the water tank bigger and the hose is weak it broke in half not even a full year with the machine . I also hate when the bottom tank starts getting full dirty water starts comes out the side of the machine getting all over the walls or sofa . I have to wipe everything down beside that it does a great job especially the hose picks up just about everything that needs to be cleaned.

We are on our 3rd shark stainstriker carpet cleaner and we are happy with the hand tool, but this does not spray and clean carpets well, we love ninja products but shark is poor quality. Our first one broke within 5 months, we got a replacement and that one broke within 2 uses and now, this one is on its 4th use and it's not spraying well, never buying another shark but will always buy ninja products. Shark, learn to also increase your capacity cause it's also poor. After this one takes a dump, we are going back to hoover because they atleast last 4+ years. Waste on money on 3 shark products. (Edit) Tried again today a couple of weeks later and just shut of COMPLETELY! WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS WITH THE WAY SHARK MAKES THEIR PRODUCTS.

I bought this in June and it broke already. Two uses in it started shooting water out the side of it but it stopped doing it after being turned off and on so I thought it would be ok. Turns out not. Such a disappointment, especially considering how much I paid for it.

The first one was replaced due to the vents on the sides spraying out the nasty water from the tank. The 2nd one is having the same issues. It looks like they placed some covers behind the vents to prevent the spray out, but it's not working. Just got through having to wipe down the sides our sectional due to the spray from the vents. Gross and very unsanitary. I am going to return this 2nd one and move on to something else.
