Bought this based on numerous testing sites. I must say the suction is fantastic. The first thing I cleaned were 50 chair cushions at a banquet facility. The water was filthy. Granted a few old stains did not come out. I did not use the oxygen cleaner because I wanted to use it at home. The suction power rivals that of rug doctor or Bissell rentals. Today I'm tackling the couch!!

It's cleans well but has a lot of design flaws. I do like the suction power it pull the dirt out the bottom of the rug. the waters be black . I hate the hose location it keeps falling every time you bump into the sofa or wall .they need to make the water tank bigger and the hose is weak it broke in half not even a full year with the machine . I also hate when the bottom tank starts getting full dirty water starts comes out the side of the machine getting all over the walls or sofa . I have to wipe everything down beside that it does a great job especially the hose picks up just about everything that needs to be cleaned.

This is the best carpet cleaner I have ever owned. The solution does a great job at tackling stains and just regular maintenance of our carpets. Easy to use, rolls smoothly. Does a great job of sucking up the dirty water . The extra dry mode is a Godsend.

Incredible carpet cleaner from shark. we've owned Bissell and an older hoover and this Shark is tops. It's ability to catch and filter separate out all the dog hair is crucial for us. the beater bar doesn't clog with hair but is very effective. Tons of great attachments, a few that keep dog pee captured right at the top instead of running through the whole system. Lots of the vac come apart fully to clean as well but so far have been very reliable. or shark vac is over a decade old and still going strong, hopefully this will last as long with proper care. we use vinegar in the extra tank instead of expensive oxy liquid and that works well for depression or an extra shot of cleaner.

This is by far the WORST product I've ever purchased. Buy this product if you want frustration and exasperation. Two blinking red lights come on within a minute of use and it stops working. Even after hosing out the machine in our laundry tub it won't last a minute before the red blinking lights return. Yes, I've followed the directions to resolve this issue but it still stops operating. Now I have to find and purchase the tool I need to disassemble the machine as it is assembled with non-standard screws.

I bought this cleaner over a year ago and have used it several times. It made my 13 year old sectional look like new after spills etc from 4 grandchildren!!! Also, it's easy to clean up after use. Just take it apart , rinse and air dry. No inaccessible nooks and crannies like on other machines. The cleaning solutions are fantastic and leave a fresh clean smell.

I have had Shark Carpetxpert with stain striker for a 1yr and a half. At first use it was great then it went downhill after that. Six months after owning it, the Oxy Multiplier no longer distributes anything out , absolutely nothing comes out , the amount I put in the blue bottle is the same amount I pour back in the bottle. The cleaner itself doesn't suck up much water which leaves the carpet slopping wet. I have to put my foot and apply a little pressure to get it to suck anything out. Yesterday I went to use the carpet cleaner and not only is the carpet soaking wet in spots but the carpet doesn't look any cleaner than before. My carpet is less than 4yrs old! Im usually pro shark products but this one so poor that My feelings about shark products is starting to diminish.

I would give zero stars if I could. I have had four different replacements sent out. I started out with the model below this one. Most recent replacement was this model. And it had the same issue the second time I used it and It is yet again, spitting dirty water out of the motor exhaust vents. I would like to add I only use shark products in it, dump it when it is full(which is very often) I take very good care of my things and I use them correctly according to the manual. Despite this, though, I have had terrible luck with this carpet shampooer. Thankfully, they do have a great warranty but at this point, it's been a hassle. I have had many shark products and I love them all. This is the first one that I would not recommend and I would never purchase it again.

After using multiple carpet cleaners I think I finally found the ONE. This cleaner is easy to move, and bring up the stairs behind me. I have a family of 6 so our stairs are a high traffic area. 5th time using this machine and hasn't let me down yet!
