[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Shark Carpet Xpert machine a while but haven’t had time to review because of a family emergency and had to leave town. With nervous cats, I came home to some vomit on my rug and the usual spray I left for the pet sitter still left a visible stain. This Shark carpet cleaner is just the right size to move up and down stairs and clean small messes easily. Yes, the reservoir is smaller than a commercial rental machine but it tackles both new and old stains mightily. Now off to finish the stair carpet since this machine is easy to use and the smaller head works to get into crevices. Quality seems good and I expect it to last for quite some time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to give this Shark CarpetXpert™ with Stainstriker™ Carpet Cleaner a try because we have a Shark vacuum cleaner and have been very happy with the quality and durability. We had just rented a carpet cleaner from a local store and we were very disappointed. It didn't clean well and pet stains were left behind. This was a great opportunity to test the Shark and it couldn't have gone better. It was easy to set up and use, and together with the wand for small areas and the stairs, it cleaned every stain. We went over the carpet we had just cleaned with the rental unit and couldn't believe how dirty the water was. This is a very effective cleaning machine and I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a dog owner, I am very familiar with accidents. Most of our home is hardwood, with area rugs throughout. We've had a number of accidents abs thanks to Shark, you wouldn't even know. The simplicity of this vacuum and the quality of the suction is unmatched. I've used Bissel and Hoover vacuums in the best, this tops them both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently used the Shark Carpet Cleaner. It was easy to use and our carpets look like new! It came with great instructions and this carpet cleaner is much better than any other carpet cleaner we have tried. We will highly recommend this product to our friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The older I get the more satisfied I become with getting dirt out of my home! The Shark CarpetXpert with Stainstriker works amazingly well! I tried it on a area rug that I have had for about 5 years now. I have a dog and a small spot cleaner that I would always use on this rug whenever there were any accidents. I always thought it was fairly clean until using this. I was so disgusted and excited to see all of the dirt that came out of the rug! It was extremely easy to use, and did not involve me bending down and scrubbing like my small spot cleaner. The dirty water tank does fill up very fast but I’m guessing that’s because it was very dirty. I did vacuum before using the CarpetXpert but the CarpetXpert made me realize my vacuum is not as strong as I thought because it still pulled out dog hair, that I was able to pick up! The smell of the solution is nice, and not overpowering. The CarpetXpert also comes apart very easily so that you can clean out all of the parts if there is dog hair or anything sticking to the brush. I have learned the hard way in the past that it is always best to clean out these types of machines after each use, so no additional dirt or stink stays in them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a must if you have carpet. It was easy to assemble. It comes with attachments to clean furniture. You just power it on and glide it across the carpet, it deposits what’s needed. You glide it back towards you and it removes the dirt from your floors. The tanks are easy to remove and clean. The brushes do a great job at scrubbing stains out. You have a lever near the bottom that you lift if you use the attachments. I’ve never had a machine that was so easy to use and did such a wonderful job. My carpets look fantastic. It has 2 cleaning tanks and solutions, one you dilute and the other you do not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always rented carpet cleaners from the grocery because I don’t use them with any particular frequency. This product has changed that and it’s amazing just how much cleaner your rugs and carpets will be after use. The only downside, which is par for the course is now I have to take up space in a closet to store it…

Came within a few days of ordering. I put it to the test right away. I am so happy with all of my shark projects as of now I have shampooed my stairs, sons room, my room, my mattress, my basement and my rugs. I only have my office left and I have done everything in two weeks. If your looking for something that really works get you a shark.

I finally used this product after it sat for 2 months. it works ok I will not give it a 10 . because your constantly adding water and cleaner and draining the dirty water. small resovoirs for holding water. you cant get very far before you need to add water and empty the dirty water. Needs to have bigger capacity.
