[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great product. It is lightweight yet study. It is well designed and good looking. We had a very dirty couch that needed lots of work. Dogs, kids, food, and wine have all messed it up. To be sure, some stains are so deep that it's virtually impossible but it cleaned the heck out of the couch. If you catch things early enough then pretty much anything will come out. I wish it original purchase came with more of the soap though. That is my only critique.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this carpet cleaner with the hand tool for deep stains after moving into a house that appeared to have a couple of pet stains set in already. I was shocked at how well the stains came up and it was actually fun using the carpet cleaner because it showed such an improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the 5 years we’ve been in our house we haven’t done anything to the carpets but vacuum. Using this deep carpet cleaner we were amazed and appalled at how much dirt it picked up!! The cleaner was easy to setup and the instructions were straightforward. All the controls were intuitive and labeled nicely so it was easy to start using. We first did a deep clean with water and the concentrated solution and followed with a warm water clean on “quick dry mode”. Wow it’s amazing the difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So light weight and easy to use. Assembly instrctions were simple and I was able to put it together without any help from my husband. I have an older dog (16 yrs old) who has lost control of his bladder. There are times I do not get him outside fast enough and he has an accident on my carpet. This carpet cleaner is so lightweight and easy to use, I do not mind getting out and using it nearly on a daily basis (sometimes more than once a day).

I received mine a few days ago. I LOVE IT!!!!!! I originally did my homework, I have 4 small dogs, wanted one that could be used on rugs and sofa. Based on all the tests and peoples reviews I at first bought the new Bissell with the steam. I ruined my rug, pulled out some of the pattern and its ability to remove water is like a toddler sucking through a straw. The tank emptied into my rug and extracted maybe 2 cups. Took my rug 3 days to dry with fans on it. Bissell said it was because the rug was wool and their machine is geared toward scrubbing and dirt removal, but wool old onto water, LOL. They refunded my money. DO NOT BUY THE BISSELL WITH STEAM, ALSO The steam is only for pretreating, they fail to mention that tidbit. So I have been rereading and saw an independent video on the Shark Xpert. It sold me.....That video talked about the extraction, and you can choose only extract....PERFECT!

I've never reviewed a product before, however, after using this cleaner, I had to share my experience. The XPERT cleaner was little difficult to assemble, nothing outside the manual. I emptied the solutions into the tanks, vacuumed my bedroom carpet, and after a few passes, my jaw dropped and I had to call my husband over yelling LOOK LOOK. The full front window of what the carpet extracts is completely visible (I've only seen windows offering views towards the machine, not behind while you operate it) Firstly, the machine almost self propelled itself, very easy to maneuver, what I wasn't expecting was when pulling the machine back was the suction to the carpet was like no other. You can not only SEE what was being taken from the carpet, you can Feel it as well. I finished the room, took out the dirty water tank, (good thing this is anonymous, I don't want everyone Knowing) and the tank water looked like TAR. I had spilled soda, dropped ashtrays ashes, old cereal grounded in, you can imagine, not only did the XPERT make them all disappear, but what I was left with, no lie, looked like a carpet that was just laid, the pile, stood up, felt slightly damp. In begining to look for a machine, I didn't realize they had all gotten to this price range, and was a bit apprehensive, now that I see the results, every $ I spent was well worth it. The only issue I have is that the solution you need for the machine is on order only. I'm ready to get started on every other inch in my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The older I get the more satisfied I become with getting dirt out of my home! The Shark CarpetXpert with Stainstriker works amazingly well! I tried it on a area rug that I have had for about 5 years now. I have a dog and a small spot cleaner that I would always use on this rug whenever there were any accidents. I always thought it was fairly clean until using this. I was so disgusted and excited to see all of the dirt that came out of the rug! It was extremely easy to use, and did not involve me bending down and scrubbing like my small spot cleaner. The dirty water tank does fill up very fast but I’m guessing that’s because it was very dirty. I did vacuum before using the CarpetXpert but the CarpetXpert made me realize my vacuum is not as strong as I thought because it still pulled out dog hair, that I was able to pick up! The smell of the solution is nice, and not overpowering. The CarpetXpert also comes apart very easily so that you can clean out all of the parts if there is dog hair or anything sticking to the brush. I have learned the hard way in the past that it is always best to clean out these types of machines after each use, so no additional dirt or stink stays in them!

Came within a few days of ordering. I put it to the test right away. I am so happy with all of my shark projects as of now I have shampooed my stairs, sons room, my room, my mattress, my basement and my rugs. I only have my office left and I have done everything in two weeks. If your looking for something that really works get you a shark.

I finally used this product after it sat for 2 months. it works ok I will not give it a 10 . because your constantly adding water and cleaner and draining the dirty water. small resovoirs for holding water. you cant get very far before you need to add water and empty the dirty water. Needs to have bigger capacity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a small handheld carpet cleaner, this vacuum is next level. Easily cleans large areas quickly and thoroughly and you can clearly see the amount of dirt or dog pee this pulls out with the clear liquid container. I would highly recommend this if you want more than spot cleaner.
