I have had this machine for 2 months I think. I have 10 cats…. Sooo I clean a lot of messes. I love the smell of the shampoo it came with. The machine is a little heavy, but I find I like it because it makes me feel like it’s sucking more water up. I love how easily everything comes apart so it can be cleaned. The only thing I do not like about this machine is if you go past the fill line it will start to spit out the dirty water through the sides of the machine. It’s pretty gross.

I’ve owned aShark vacuum for a decade. It’s the best vacuum. So when I needed a carpet cleaner I bought the Shark CarpetXpert. Sorry to say,This is the worse cleaner I have ever bought. It’s heavy, it has too many.attachments hooked on. The scrubber part is way too small, making it take longer to shampoo the carpet. Had my husband not cut up the box, I would of sent it back.

I bought this last month and never got around to using it because of working, I just used it today and am simply amazed at how well it cleaned my carpet. I have stains that has been there for forever and now they are gone! I definitely would recommend this product!

A good carpet cleaner. Unfortunately it, and the free steam mop, have some very annoying problems. When using either one the cord does not stay attached to the unit, the hook to hold it is too wide, so it is flopping around in the way will using the machine. Also the hose does not stay attached and flops off and around when trying to clean the carpet. If your an octopus with plenty of extra hands, this is not a problem. Not new technology to keep the cord and hose secured to the unit. They should include a free roll of duct tape to fix these problems. Also, a spray cleaner to pretreat dried on dog drool before using the steam mop would be very handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a loyal Shark customer, this carpet cleaner has truly exceeded my expectations (and they were high to begin with!). Being a dog owner and parent, you can imagine the messes that have accumulated on our carpets, from muddy paws to accidental spills. The CarpetXpert have effectively resolved our stains of the past and I feel armed for anything that may arise in the future. The cleaning solutions provided (OxyMultiplier stain cleaner & Deep Clean concentrate) smell AMAZING. Not only am I pleased with the results, the clean citrus scent that lingers is so satisfying. I have never enjoyed the scent of solutions in the past but I promise you, Shark nailed it. You will love this carpet cleaner, the results and the cleaning solutions! I cannot wait to use the handheld cleaner in my car next. Thank you, Shark, for checking every single box when creating this carpet cleaner. WELL DONE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a huge golden retriever and 2 kids all of which bring in dirt and mess to our house. Our basement is carpeted and we have several area rugs that need to be cleaned frequently. This does the job quickly and efficiently. Looks like professionally cleaned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super happy with this thing. I got this one primarily because of the dual function capability as a "floor" carpet cleaner and extractor. Set-up and use is super straight forward. The very first thing I did was clean all the carpets and seats in my truck and it did a fantastic job. The exact same day I cleaned the carpet in my primary bedroom in very little time. If I had to pick a flaw it would be cleaning after use it a bit cumbersome but in all honesty I don't really see how you can avoid that with something like this. Pro Tip: Go ahead and order more of the cleaning solution that comes with it immediately. The small bottles that come with it will get you started but will not last you long.

I'm a Shark vacuum user and will always be. I bought my first 0ff tv, just like how I bought the Carpetpert. When I used it , it didnt do a very good job at all. I didn't care that it despenced water or cleaning solution every time you move the machine forwar There was like grease coming up from the side vents of the machine.

I purchased this product for less than a year ago and was so excited because of all of the good reviews. I do exactly what the product states to ensure it stays clean and is wash all my parts correctly. I’m not sure if I got a defective one but now every single time I use the machine it barely works. The spray barely comes out of the bottom and it barely suctions. I am so upset as I’m a single mother of four and had really high hopes for this product.

I bought this in advance of the holidays because we had pet accidents in the past that, while cleaned up by hand, left me with the lingering feeling that a good deep down cleaning would be the wiser thing to do. This machine does a great job of a more thorough cleaning especially when the cleaner is boosted by the oxi additive. It is not too light which is actually a good thing when it comes to sucking up the dirty water. I am pleased with the results.
