I am highly satisfied with this terrific Westinghouse 9500 generator. The features are fantastic. I tested this machine out and it lived up to the advertisement and more. I'm telling all my friends who are in the market for a generator to be sure and purchase this one!!!

I just purchased this generator for our home and I have to say this thing is great when it comes to quality. Just a small assembly of the wheels and front feet adding oil and gas it is ready to go. Started right up and the thing that really amazed me was that it wasn't nearly as loud as I expected. I have it wired to my house using an interlock kit instead of a transfer switch. This way I can get full use of the generator without having to select certain circuits. Not looking forward to any power outages but I'll be ready when they happen. Highly recommend this generator for all off grid power needs.

Upon unboxing I was impressed. Got the feet and wheels on in minutes. Added the oil, gas, and went to connect the battery, but it was already connected. The battery was very weak and needed charged. Charged it over night and its fine now. It was VERY hard to start for the first time, The choke isnt operating completely right. I am going to call tech support today and have them advise. It doesnt fully go to the start position. After I manually set the choke to start the unit started ok. Overall happy with the purchase thus far.

I ordered and it said to expect the Generator by Jan 31. I ordered it on the 13th and it arrived on the 14th. "Fast" Opened it up, set up was easy, and started up without issue. Same size and weight as my old one but more than double the power! "Furious" I will do another review after a year but happy happy so far!

Bought to provide standby power for my aged Mother since Texas cannot seem to manage the electrical grid. Unit is as advertised but constructed much more robustly than I anticipated. Interesting note that sales information said it was made in China yet the serial tag reflects Vietnam.

Lost power after Isaias and decided its time to put a stop to that!! A co-worker recommended this model and I couldn't be happier. Easy to put the wheels together, very securely packaging and most of all starts right up and runs great out of the box. Also noticed its very solidly built and not cheaply made. Now going to get a transfer switch installed and i'm all set to go for the next outage.

After experiencing a weeklong power outage in the middle of winter, I purchased this generator to run our RV trailer and keep the house appliances i.e., refrigerator, freezer, security lighting etc. powered. It took about 30 minutes to unbox and prep the new generator for use. I hooked the generator up to propane pressed the auto start button and on the fourth try it fired up. I hooked all the aforementioned items to the generator, there was ample power to run all. The setup is super easy, the instruction manual is great with easy-to-understand guides. If there is a fault to this generator it would be that it is a loud when running. A better noise reducing muffler system would make the generator perfect. That being said I am very happy with this purchase.

Received the generator a week ago and just set it up. Set up was very easy and straight forward. I have only tested the generator using propane thus far and it fired up first time with no issues. I tested it using several power tools and to run a compressor and it worked great. It seems quite robust and should run everything I'll need to in a power outage as well.

I bought this generator through amazon Oct, of 2020. Was only used when power to our house would go out, so I have less than 20 hours on it. Generator started running bad found the inside carb stud was broken in half with the threaded part still in the head. Called Westinghouseabout the 3 year warranty wont cover the work. My opinion bad workmanship por quality of parts.

I bought generator in August of 2021 and it has worked flawlessly until now. My power went out at 3am on Thursday the 16th. I pulled out Mr. Reliable and went to start it and nothing. It would turn over but wouldn't start. I tried some carburetor cleaner. It then started but fell dead immediately. Very disappointed. I've been trying to get it for the past 2 days. I've tried everything and still nothing. I finally through in the towel and put in a ticket with Westinghouse. To be continued.
