Delivery was on time. Super easy to assemble: Install the wheels, front legs, put a little gasoline, turned the gas tank shut off valve to the "ON" position, connected the battery, filled the motor with 10-30 engine oil that came with it. We plan to us the GEN. as a backup power and storage it long term with little to no use: Thus we put very little fuel in the tank to avoid having to siphon it out and not leave gas inside the tank to rot during its long term storage period. As a result it did not start at first, due to the small amount of fuel in the tank. We also realized the Gen was sitting on a very slight slope, causing the small amount of gas to gravitate away from the shut off valve which is the intake for the Carb. - so Fuel was not reaching the carb./Engine. Once we turned the Gen. around sloping it the other way, this allowed the small amount of fuel to reach the shut off valve, , it fired right up. Put a load on it, performed like a champ. Switched to Propane and same thing, ran perfect. No complaints here. This looks to me to be a quality made unit and the 50AMP outlet is just what we needed.

Bought this as a whole house backup. It should power just about everything minus the AC units unless I run them by themselves. Of note, the 50 Amp plug is protected by a 30 Amp CB so it is limited to 30 amps maximum output at 240 volts. The running amps is less. To get the most out of the generator for a whole house system you will need to use both the 30 amp and 50 amp plugs wired to either separate panels or separate sides of your house CB load panel. If this doesn't make sense to you then you want to have an electrician do the wiring.

Just bought this product. It was delivered via liftgate and hand-truck right to our garage. Assembly was very easy because the frame allows standing the machine on one end, allowing access to install the wheels and feet to the bottom. Added oil, hooked up the propane tank and it started first try and ran very smoothy.

I started to buy this generator in September. Had to wait until Oct. was worth the wait. Easy to assemble came with everything to do the job.Nice features works with all my power tools. Just waiting for power to go to see what the run time is with full load.

After the recent power outage I decided to step up to the plate and buy a new generator to meet my house needs. This Westinghouse 9500 generator fit that need. Quality is awesome, it’s loaded with features missing from other generators.plus it’s warranty is amazing, three years.

We recently were impacted by a hurricane and were without power for several days. After some research we purchased a Westinghouse generator to power our home. Since it’s arrived we’ve powered a full home with no issues. Happy to be prepared for the next outage!

9500DF is a heavy, so it requires 2 people to install front feet and rear wheels. The set up and startup procedures are very straightforward, especially when using the electric start/fob. I connected the generator to my home using GenerLink device. I was able to power lights, appliances, computer related equipment, well pump, sump pump, and oil heat boiler without issue. I can power a small central air conditioning system by limiting use of other energy hogs. The 9500DF looks great, is well built, starts easily, and delivers the power. The dual fuel support adds tremendous flexibility should outages come with fuel availability challenges. I was able to buy at a promotional price further adding to the 9500DF’s already solid value proposition.

I bought this in dec 2020 it never worked right now it doesn’t produce power at all warranty is a joke paid for my own AVR after calling customer service. Still no power the motor works maybe I can put it in a lawn mower. It has all of 40 hours on it.

Very simple set up, comes with everything you need except fuel. Started right up. I havent had enoough time to run test for duration but will update once I put it through a weekend of use. Would be 5 stars except the machine is louder than I anticipated.

While I haven't had the chance to use the generator as intended during a power loss, my only use was power my travel trailer. Everything about it tells me that this is a quality product. It started right up and ran flawlessly for the duration. The real test will come to power my house when needed and I expect nothing but the best result.
