I just got this generator to replace an aged Yamaha 3000iseb for emergency backup purposes. I was concerned about the potential noise level. I have only run it on propane so far, but it started easily and runs more quietly than I expected. I started it at my shop, where I plan to run it, and walked the 100 feet to the house behind the shop to ask if my wife thought it was too loud. I literally could not hear it. She was pleased.

Great machine. The craftsmanship is perfect and started right up first time. Very little to assemble and had it running 10 mins out of the box. Only thing I wish it had was a 30 amp 120 plug. It only has a 30 amp 240 plug. And wish it had a idle control switch. But besides that it's a perfect fit for what I need and I knew this machine didnt have those features before I brought it. But can't beat the price.

I have bought two of the gen 9500dfs in the last year. I am very pleased with both units. I have run the home essentials and my shop on these generators without any issues.. I would recommend this generator to anyone needing an emergency electrical supply.

Simple to setup. As advertised features and accessories provided. First gas fill drips/splash (nearly inevitable without out-of-norm measures) left visible markings in the flat black painted gas tank even when cleaned immediately. I realize it’s a tool, but a bit disappointing when it hadn’t even been started yet. Will know more of capability after first use, and reliability after some long run hours with multiple events.

While I haven't had a chance to use it yet, it is a very impressive machine. Packaging and shipping was excellent, and set-up is so easy a caveman could do it! All the controls are easily accessible, and the outlet covers looks like they'll keep the weather out. Never hope for the power to go out before, but if it does, I'm ready.

I 'm sorry I waited so long to purchase a generator (my wife has been pestering me for a few yrs to get one). I bought the 9500 yesterday.(6-20-22). We lost power again last week for 10 hrs. and we could have used our new generator then. Will be contacting a electrician shortly to wire up the transfer switch and are anxious to try this new power house.

Best portable generator I have ever purchased. Lots of features such as electric start by push button on side of unit, key bob or you can use the pull rope Once I opened it instructions were very clear basically just install the 2 wheels and the 2 stationary feet add the oil it comes with to the proper level and your ready. It would be also a good idea to read all the instructions and manual before starting and using the the generator. It is a dual fuel so add gasoline or hookup propane tank select the type of fuel you are using on a handle on the side of generator and you are good to go. As I said lots of features I would suggest going to there website and pulling this model up and you will see all the features it has which are many. Once I hooked up my propane tank and set the choke it cranked right up. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Bought this awhile back and have used it for two power failures in my neighborhood. Ran on regular unleaded gas for several hours without running out. I guess about 10+ hours or more before refilling. Easy to assemble and the built in wheels and foldable handle make it easier to move. This is a heavy generator so if you're a small person, you may need someone to help. I'm 6'2" and it wasn't a problem for me but you will need to take care when moving it as it takes a little strength. Remote star fob is handy but I used the start button.Looking forward to having an electrician install a transfer switch to my house so I can hook up to house using single 50 amp cord to run A/C, fridge and freezer and a few lights without having to run separate cords.

I went from an older generator that failed me after a hurricane to this machine and it's a beast! Very well built and with a low amount of vibrations. I bought it mostly for the propane burning capability but will use gas if I run out of the other fuel. Worked like a charm right out of the box. Very impressed with it. I hate to admit this, but can't wait for us to lose power again in the next hurricane so I can try it out in its full glory.

My WGen9500 arrived today as promised. It took me 20 minutes to add the oil, put the rear no flat tires on, hook up the battery and the front feet. Very easy. Once I put gasoline in it and hit the start button away she went. Runs smooth and started on the first push of the button. The push button start is perfect for those of us that don't want to or can't pull the rope. This is quite a product for the price.
