Awesome machine with push button/fob no hassle start. Very strong and it runs a home 2 ton central AC no problem. A/C, lights, TV, water heater powered with no issues for days after a hurricane. I had a 50 amp power plug installed which I used to connect the generator and power the whole house. It is a little loud.

Arrived with damaged packaging and dents to control panel and generator cover on end. Removed cover inspected for damage to wires and repaired cover Added oil and fresh gas to generator. Opened gas valve, several attempts to start were unsuccessful. Started up after a shot of starting fluid and ran without any problems for 1 hour. Shut down and changed oil for rest of break in period. Packaging could be much better, will update after rest of break in and if I receive the generator cover as advertised in the paper work included with product for doing this review.

We purchased the first WGEN9500DF in July 2020 and after we had a little problem with it Westinghouse was great at replacing the unit. We loved the first one and my wife really loved the remote start. This thing has a ton of power to run all our 5th wheel needs plus. Great for all our remodeling jobs on the new property. Love it

I already have a 5000 watt generator, which does only part of my electric requirements for my house.I bought these unit after much research and the recommendation by my electrican. This unit will be hooked up directly to my electrical pannel. My electricty goes out frequently. Unit came shipped to my house on a pallet and was A-1 condition. Assembly of wheels and pads quick and easy. filled will oil gas and started right up. Can't wait to see how it perf0rms next time electricity goes out.

Just purchased this unit and very happy with the product. Front interface panel is nicely laid out and easy for users to change fuel settings, leverage receptacles, etc. Overall - very happy with this 9500DF Westinghouse Unit and found the other positive reviews were spot on.

Just received yesterday and completed the minor assembly required. Fired up on the first try with LP gas and I am ready for the next power outage. Push button start, remote starter key fob, and on-the-fly fuel change were the key features I wanted, along with the hefty 9500 running watts.

We live in an area that has power outages from storms during the winter and summer. We needed something that would run our freezers and refrigerators when we lose power. This thing definitely has enough power for the whole house as well as using it for our camper and the duel fuel made it even better instead of taking a bunch of gas cans camping.

We just purchased this generator and started it up. Runs fairly quietly. It has a number of powering options. We hope the weather cooperates this winter and we don't have to use it, but feel confident that it will perform as advertised if we do. Thanks!

I just bought the WGen9500 generator 2 weeks ago to power my home during power outages and am very pleased with it thus far. I feel that I made a great investment especially in time of need when this will be put to work. Based on my research, you can't beat Westinghouse products. I will definitely entertain purchasing products from Westinghouse in the future.

I upgraded to this unit from a ~30 year old 2500 watt unit. Got tired of running extension cords throughout the house. I also had an electrician install a 50 amp receptacle and interlock in my existing panel along with a natural gas stub to run the unit. I have run it a few times already just to test everything out. Was able to run the whole house with no problem. I specifically bought this unit to use with natural gas during power outages simply because I did not want to have carburetor problems that are possible with traditional generators. I also ran it off gas just to make sure everything works. I like they have included a carburetor drain screw to help there is no carb gumming (ethanol is some nasty stuff if you leave it in equipment). This generator is very well worth it. The only slight nitpick I have is when running on gas, the tank doesn't fully drain. I tried running it out of gas (and it was on a level surface) and there was still a bit of fuel left in the tank. Not a huge deal for me since I plan on only using natural gas.
