Electrician got the electric panel wired for generator per code. We fueled generator and ran power code to panel plugi in, pushed button, and immediately cranked. Ran smoothly til fuel ran dry. Suggest you put Sta bil in and run until dry for extended storage.

I just received my new generator. It is great. All hoses, battery, battery charger, remote starter FOB and oil was included. Assembly was easy and pull handle well placed to the unit where I need it. Instruction manual is clear and easy to follow.

BOUGHT THIS GENERATOR IN FEBUARY AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.RUNS QUIET,REMOTE START VERY HANDY,LOVE THE DUAL FUEL,WILL RUN ALL I NEED IT TO IN MY WHOLE HOUSE WHEN ELECTRIC GOES OUT EVEN OUR PELLET STOVE FOR HEAT WHEN THE CENTRAL HEAT AND AIR DOESNT WORK.I JUST WALK OUT FLIP A SWITCH AND EVERYTHING IS BACK ON.TOLD MY NEIGHBOR ABOUT IT AND SHOWED HIM HOW IT WORKS AND HE BOUGHT ONE ALSO.

Just got my generator, assembly of wheels and feet was easy, came with a spark plug wrench, a 11W battery charger, a quart of oil and a funnel, after connecting the battery adding oil and gas with the push of the button it started right up. It runs great. I have not got to use it to power my home yet but that is next on my list.

Power kept going out more then ever. After a lot of research I decided on the WGen9500DF. After a few minutes of having to put the tires and the feet on, I added the supplied oil that came with the generator, filled with gas, and one attempt and it started right up. The fact that I can use gas or propane is a bonus. The generator is not to loud. Some reviews said it was pretty loud. I didn’t think so. Now I have no more worries when my power goes out. I’ll be prepared.

Just purchased this beauty yesterday and will definitely come in handy as it is indented to power up an entire house for my special needs stepson. I installed a circuit panel plug to the electric panel on the house. Will return with a more complete review once used.

This generator is easy to use, not that difficult to get setup (wheel on, etc), but the instructions are slightly out of date for the variation they sent me. 1. The instructions clearly indicate to take the terminals off the battery, but the version i received has a quick connect that connects the battery to the starter, which is great, but since i was following the instructions, cost me several minutes of wasted life reconnecting the wires that i didn't even need to disconnect at all. 2. The instructions on filling the oil should specify (1) don't forget about the include oil funnel that will make a lot less of a mess; and (2) just use the full quart they include so you don't have to waste time checking if you filled it enough. It actually needs slightly more than the included quart, but that at least gets it to the bare minimum level on the dipstick. The remote start is pretty sweet however, and will be very useful in my given situation during a power outage.

This is the 2nd Westinghouse generator that I have purchased. The first, which is in excellent working condition, now is owned by our daughter. I wanted the dual fuel generator which is the only reason that we bought another. The generator came packaged well with no damage and one bottle of oil is supplied along with various accessories that are needed for maintenance. Ease of assembly is great. It requires a break in period of 5 hours. I'm confident that it will work as well as the other.

After several Power Outages in Austin Texas one lasting for 6 day I decided to do something about it. Staying home was not a option so I moved into a Hotel and it cost me almost what I paid for my Westinghouse Generator !! After a little repurchase I discover I could have my Home wired to run by Generator. I have my home wired and this generator will power everything in it. So I now say BLACK OUT !! BRING IT ON lol I”m ready and I don’t have to more out until the outage is over 😁 Best Money I spent lately for Me and my Family.

I bought this for our home after heavy amount of research, and I am quite satisfied with my selection. The unit arrived via freight shipping and after a quick assembly of the wheels and feet, added oil, connected the battery it fired right up! The remote start is a fabulous feature for my wife whom might not be comfortable with walking up to this beast and getting it started. Very pleased.
