Living out in the country has it's advantages and disadvantages. Nice and quiet but your the last ones to get your power back on after ice storms. Did a lot of research before picking this model. Has enough power to run the things I need to run, It's quiet enough, has a large gas tank, and can run off the propane tanks for the outdoor grill. Quality is better than I expected, really nice for the price point. Even comes with a spark plug wrench (for maintenance) and a10mm wrench to put the legs on.

Just got my generator in today. Instructions are clear, construction of unit seems well put together and was the best price I could find on the market for my desired power output. I’m looking forward to seeing how it performes once hooked up too my homes power panel

NOT WORKING IN COLD WEATHER (BELOW 20 F.) The "auto start" does not work at all at cold weather (Auto choke failure) It might work only if you push the choke lever with your thumb at the "cold" position and hold it there In other word: Useless if you live up northern USA or Canada fpor the reaL winter time

Generator set up per instructions and quick start guide. Started Generator with remote and started quick and began to run. After about 8 minutes of running, the generator began to sounds like out of gas then died. Tried to re-start generator by pushing start button on front panel of generator and wires from just behind the front panel sparked and caught fire.

I bought this generator for backup power for my house. I like the dual fuel feature because I can use propane and not have to worry about fuel going bad in the the gasoline tank. I looked at a lot of different generators but found this to be the best value for my needs. Easy to assemble also, just put the tires on and it’s ready to go.

This is my first time ever using a generator and the instructions for set up were easy to follow and the simple way to use has been impressive. The ability to use gas or propane was what the deciding factor on this purchase. I got this to run my little shop beside the house and it has been used regular and has not fazed it one bit. Highly recommend for the big jobs out there but for those that need it to be simple to use!!

The unit was easy to put together. Just add fuel and oil. It started up and I’m 2 hours into the 50% load break in period. Looking forward to trying it out under a normal load. So far I couldn’t be happier. One of my coworkers bought the same 9500DF unit a year ago and has had only good things to say about his experience.

One week after the generator arrived we had a huge storm and were left without power for 3 days. This generator did the job!!! Ran the furnace(heat), the well, and everything else we tried. I ran it using a propane tank. I am looking forward to being able to connect it to our natural gas line soon. Now I'm ready to sell my old gas only generator.

This generator has all the power I need to run the essentials of of my home. Set up was a easy snap. Directions are also easy to follow. Once you assemble the feet and wheels and fill with the provided oil you are ready to start. After a couple of tries it started right up. I let it run for about an hour before I put a load on it. Then gradually over the next two hours I increased the load. I am able to run lights, two TV's, furnace, two air handlers and well pump all at the same time. very impressed with the design and ease of use. A remote starter is a nice added feature. Now I'm ready for the next power outage.
