Just received the generator, setup was a breeze per the instruction booklet. Control panel is easy to understand. Started on 1st try using propane. Ran 1 chest freezer to start the break in period and it ran effortlessly. Very glad I choose this generator WGen9500Fc.

Just delivered yesterday and I unboxed it today. I have been looking to upgrade to a bigger generator as my needs have changed in my new home. We moved from the hustle and bustle of central Florida to a home in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where power outages can be common certain times of the year and when it goes out the average restoration time is 6to 8 hours average. Our other generator wattage was only 5500 peak watts which was adequate for central Florida home with city water and gas appliances. But our new home is all electric with a well pump which the load is higher. I don’t expect it to run the complete home but it will be more than enough to run the necessities to make out power outages a little more easier. With 3 refrigerators , 2 freezers , lights fans and a well pump I was at my limit with 5500 watts. I haven’t used the new Westinghouse Generator yet but I know it is only a matter of time. The day we purchased this we had two outages with in one week totaling 14 hours.

This generator is simply awesome had everything needed including the battery and remote start fob. Very easy to assemble. Hooked it up to natural gas. The unit started right away and runs smoothly. Would highly recommend instead of spending thousands more.

After assembly and fuel and oil, turned on ignition switch, fuel valve, and plugged in battery, set choke and used pull starter. It started first pull. Tried electric start and key fob all worked well. Turned on breaker switch and tried power tools all worked, I am very happy with this 9500/12500 Make sure your oil is full, the oil shipped is not enough to fill the engine completely!

We had 2 power distruptions this summer and I expect more to come. Majority ash trees are dead in the state aand WE Energies is not able to cut them all down. I only tried generator and it started right away. Right now electrician is setting all lines to connect to main panel if necessary. After he is done we will try it again to see how much power it can actually give. I expect conditioner, furnace, well, microwave, refrigirator and lights in one room. This product was recommended by electrician.

We purchased this generator after we had a transfer switch professionally installed. It will power the house, including our central AC, in the event of a prolonged power outage. Fingers crossed we will never need to use it, but knowing we have it in the garage ready to go gives great piece of mind.

I bought the generator and am thrilled with the features, along with the fact that it can be run on gas or propane. Handle and wheels makes it convenient for a female to get it in position for use. Electric start is also one of the best ever features! I'm ready for hurricane season!

We had tornados go through our neighborhood and we lost power for 2 days. MY sump pump did not work and it flooded my basement. and carpet and walls had to be replaced. I dont want to go through that again. So this is the answer. I also have the transfer switch installed.

Load size and price per watt matter more than other items. Out of the box, put together and running in less than 30 minutes. Started on the forth crank cycle, then on the first crank thereafter. The only issue was the negative battery lug was hitting the wheel, rotated it out of the way and it's just fine. It doesn't have the wattage load needed to carry the whole load of the house, but it'll do just fine to cover those needed items.

I bought this about a month ago. And all though I've only tested so far it not only handled the A/C but I flipped the hot water heated and it took on like it was nothing. I wouldn't suggest running the two together but it was great to see it could handle the load. I'm waiting for the power to go out to give it a real test.
