Just received this as a gift for the holidays but haven't had a chance to use it. I plan on setting it up as a backup generator for when the power goes out but I also like that it's not a permanent generator and can be moved to another location for use.

Simple set-up, high quality and strong power source make this THE generator for us. From the large gasoline tank and LP option, to the multiple outlets on the front of the unit, this Westinghouse generator has it all! I also want to note the matte black tubular frame and the gloss blue paint look excellent! I tested the generator under load with my large air compressor that utilizes a 5.5hp 20amp motor and the Westinghouse didn’t flinch when the compressor kicked on. I was expecting the generator’s RPMs to surge, but it didn’t. This is a true “whole house” generator that will easily manage multiple job site tasks or powering your home during outages. I highly recommend!

I just received the unit yesterday. The generator came fully assembled and is in great condition. The only thing I had to assemble were the wheels and support feet. The assembly was very easy and quick. This unit has excellent features and will be used primarily as back up power in case of power failure which occurs frequently here in my area. I still need to equip this generator for high altitude use and install a transfer switching device for household use. The manual that came with this generator is very well done with clear and precise instructions and information. I have not yet started it up yet as I am in the process of ordering the altitude kits for gas and propane use. As it stands I am completely satisfied with this unit and I believe I will be very happy when I start it up.

I purchased this generator on June 01, 2020 and recieved it on June 05, 2020. Incredibly fast service. We purchased this generator after reviewing several models by multiple competitors. The WGen9500 fit our needs. Iwill update my review when I actually use it.

Just bought this generator and it has already with ease of setup and all the features that it has. I look forward to using the WGen9500DF and seeing what it can really do. The power that this has is amazing and after already doing a few test runs its has been able to handle any load that I tasked it with.

This generator is just what I needed. With its remote start ability its perfect for my need's. Do to a injury I cant use the pull starting method and this generator allows me to start it with the push of a button or better yet use the remote key fob. When needed, I now have the peace of mind that having a generator that I can use when needed is ready for any emergency

We’ve been wanting a generator for a while. Living in Texas, we obviously experience hurricanes and the struggle for the power grid to hold up if and when it ever freezes. With the antioated snow and freeze we are currently experiencing we decided to prepare and purchase a generator. We bought the Duel Fuel 12500watt and are so happy. It was easy to set up and use. Love the remote start. We had a converter switch and outlet installed and it was the best decision. We did a trial run and this little generator powered the whole house. Luckily we haven’t had to use it yet but now we have peace of mind for when we actually will need it.

. First generator sent was damaged however second looked fine. No cracks or damages The generator. By the naked eye. Looking forward to many years of service from this generator! Very pleased with the features and construction. While not exceptionally knowledgeable about generators, I believe I know quality when I see it. After my last (and much smaller) generator died only 1 day into a 2 week power outage due to a severe ice storm, I knew I needed to do better. With electric and even remote start, this is a much anticipated gift to myself and my family. It's also large enough that I hope (appropriately I believe) to power everything needed in my house with the possible exception of the heat pump. If I want to later, I understand I can also purchase a soft start kit for that that is supposed to limit the start up current to a level that this can handle. Once I finish wiring my breaker panel for the inlet box and installing an interlock kit, I'll look forward to the next power outage!

After purchasing a smaller Generac brand generator, my girlfriend and I came across a great deal on what she calles "Big Blue" the Westinghouse. Its powerful enough to run our entire home including the A/C Unit and Dryer. She likes the convience of the key fob and ease of use, I like the quaulity, ease of use, price and being able to switch from gas to propane for what Im now calling "The Machine"!! I will definatly recommend to anyone.
