I have just received this generator and have only operated it for a 60 minute break-in. It fired up right out of the box, no hesitation at all using propane. First off I would like to point out the quality that is built into this machine. The electric start is a great feature, and also including this really cool long distance key-chain remote to start and stop it from over 100 yards away. No need to weather the storm to stop or start your generator. Another great feature is the dual-fuel ability. this allows you to switch between gas or propane without even turning off the generator. no more temporary blackouts while you change the type of fuel. Includes everything you will need to start it up, (Minus you fuel choice) including a wrench, spark-plug tool, funnel, pouch, propane hose and regulator assembly and even the 1-quart 1-ounce bottle of oil. When this item arrived and was opened every thing was in perfect condition. The packaging was superior in protecting the unit. Assembly was amazingly simple and well thought-out. One of the first indicators of this machines quality is when you first lift the transporting handle to move it. It is a beefy handle with foam wrapping for comfort. The very well designed balance of this generator makes it effortless to more about. My wife can move it with little effort. The tires are large and the lift handle is strong, hefty and secure. O yeah.... the units resting feet have suction cups built-in to prevent the generator from creeping around while running on a smooth surface. I can not wait to put the this machine to work.... Just received this product and I must say it is an impressive piece of machinery. It was easy to setup and fired up right away. It has only been tested but not used since it was recently purchased. The price was very reasonable compared to other generators of the same class. It is noisy but no more than the one I previously had . I gave it 4 stars since it has not been used for the purpose intended yet. Will update when used.

Just received this generator this week (right after hurricane Ian, better late than never, thankfully didn't need it this time!) We put it together, added the oil and gas, and fired her up. It runs a bit quieter than I expected. Have a 50 amp generator interlock setup and 25' cord. Showed the wife and kids how to connect the generator, start it and stop it, and work the interlock and panel breakers. So far ran all the 120v circuits, have yet to test some of the 220v equipment. Looking forward to see how it performs when we actually need it.

I ordered the generator 1 week ago today. Today I received it. I put the wheels and front supports on, put oil in engine and connected the battery. I checked the whole machine over real good and never found anything wrong. I hook the propane tank to it and then got the key fob insinc with the generator and it started right up. I ran it for the 5 hour break in time the company recommends at less than half load. I did put a little extra load from time to time also. I let cool down for about 3 hours, started it back up hooked my air compressor to it, I ran a skill saw and a bench grinder all at the same time. I honestly believe this is going to be the generator I need to power my house when the power goes out. I would recommend this Westinghouse generator to anyone looking to buy a generator.

This generator was exceptionally easy to set up and start using. It took me less than 15 minutes to get the generator unboxed, assembled and filled with oil and gas. It started up immediately using the push button start. I shut it down and tried the remote start which also worked perfectly. I then plugged the generator into my transfer switch and was able to power my water pump, air conditioning and all my 120V devices that I normally leave on (modem, router, TV, ceiling fans, etc.) with no apparent strain on the generator. I live on the North Carolina coast and bought this generator for backup power since hurricane season is approaching. I hope I don't need it, but I now have a little more peace of mind knowing I'll be able to shower, cook and watch local news if we do lose power for several days like we did with Florence.

Powers all the the essentials in my house. I bought this following the worst snowstorm in decades when power went out for 30,000+ homes in Nevada County, Ca. Wish I would have had it a month before. Would have saved me waiting for hours in line at the gas station.

This unit comes boxed nicely and sets up very easily. Comes with an easy to understand guide as well as an owners manual that explains things more in depth. I’m still in the break in period but so far so good. My favorite feature is that you can switch between fuels and it stays running. If this review can be updated I’ll be sure to do so after it gets put to use during a power outage.

I bought this in December being a single female I had I am very excited about this product, trouble getting people to help me to get it up my Hill that I live in , it is extremely heavy but I'm excited once it gets going when the power goes out I'll have power and heat thank you so much.

Upon delivery, I immediately unpacked and prep generator. I ran it on propane to begin with, then connected to natural gas, both times started and ran flawlessly. Connected to my home with the 50 amp outlet and slowly applied load. Ran everything in the house, including my air conditioner. Finally prepared for the storms that may come. Very happy with my purchase!

I bought the Westinghouse Generator about a month ago and it has worked great. Assembly was easy and it came with a tool to help with assembly. I have not run it under full load but so far it works great. being able to use different fuels (liquid or natural gas) it really easy and will be a help if extended use is nessary.
