I love the fact that I can run the generator on propane if I run out of gas. The generator includes wheels which is a great plus as it is very heavy. The frame around the outside seems very sturdy. I bought this after checking with my next door neighbor who purchased one a few months ago. They were thrilled with the performance when we had a power outage that lasted from 1:00 AM until 6:00 PM on a day with the high temperature was 100 degrees. Now I feel ready for the next storm. I also like the fact that it has a remote start/ stop. Hardest part of setting it up was getting it out of the box. I was by myself so I pulled the staples on the cardboard box and cut down the other corners with a razor knife and just slid it out.

I replaced my 9 year old generator the this 9500 unit and it is such a great generator. It came in great shipping packaging and was easy to assemble, great direction and very easy to do. Just got thru running it on our 30 hour power outage and it run flawlessly. Certainly recommend this generator to anyone looking at this unit!

Very user friendly and well placed components, have only had this generate a week or so and have had no issues with it. Assembly instructions were right on and has had no problems in any of the operations I have completed with it, and starts with ease every time its used !!

Living in the campfire burn scar of Paradise Ca. We have had our power shut down frequently by PG&E we purchased this generator to replace one that was starting to give us problems and was not quite large enough. We purchased the WGen12000DF which is twice the size of the previous generator this thing will run our entire house without any hesitation. Major bonus points this thing is so much quieter and far more fuel efficient, so far I can not say enough good things about this thing

Delivered a few days ago. Set up was easy, the remote start is great. I have tried it with LPG and look forward to using both fuels when needed. I compared to other generators and this one runs a bit quieter than the last ones I used. It's easy to move about, and looks nice too.

After much research I finally bought the generator I feel will suite my needs the next time the power is interrupted in my neighbor hood. The WGen9500DF has all the features that I was looking for, Dual Fuel, Gas and Propane, 12500 peak watts, enough to allow me to run most everything in my home.Electric start, with a pull start backup is nice to have.The convenience of the remote start for my wife if I am not home or just don't want to go out into the weather. The comfort of the Westinghouse Brand name. I have owned this generator only for a short amount of time but feel great about my purchase.

Westinghouse offers great value for the price. You can power your fridge, a window air conditioner, pool pump, lights, fans, and a microwave with this. It’s plenty to get through the famous Houston power outages. Great insurance. And the tri-fuel options are great. Terrific product.

I bought this for use during hurricane-induced power outages in Louisiana. Had our first trial after Hurricane Francene hit, but did not have time to have an electrician set-up a 50 amp hook-up to the whole house. Used it only for less than 24 hours with only power cords to refrigerators and a freezer. Worked fine. Since then have had a trial test with a 50 amp cord to the house main breaker, after electricians installed an interlock with an additional 125 amp breaker. This generator successfully power all 20 amp systems along with one of the two house air conditioners. Very pleased with these results.

I am so happy we purchased this product! When the electric came back on, my wife used the remote control from our bedroom window to turn the generator off. She also loves being able to turn generator on using the remote. When the generator arrived, the set up was very easy.

I bought the WGen9500DF in November 2024 to have on hand for power outages. I would like to commend Westinghouse on the ease of assembly and setup/startup.... after setup, generator started right up. This generator is going to be very beneficial to our home ownership
