Living in TX the storms are awful. I absolutely had to buy a generator and after some research I selected this model. I'm so glad that I did. It powers my whole home and with small children definitely makes the weather easier to handle. I'm a single mom and operating it was super easy for me to manage as well.

I bough this wgen9500 for its power. I have had it now for a month and has performed well. Lost power for 2 weeks and was able to keep my important appliance on even my gas furnace. No issues I like watching it start on its own no need for me to do anything. I had thought I would never need one but now I know it is important to have on I really love this generator. My family was safe and warm.

I just finally got this all set up and running after a week and love it. I love the push button start and the remote start option. So easy. It was very easy to set up and get started. Took a couple try’s to turn over but that’s normal. This thing is powerful enough to run my whole house. I tested it. I’m talking all my plugs, lights, fans, and appliances. We purchased this in the springtime based on the reviews of the product. We went through a dry run and let it operate for about an hour with all of our electric service turned off. I hard wired this into a plug to our load center with his own dedicated circuit breaker. We have a typical 2000 square foot home with a 3 1/2 ton air conditioner, and this generator ran everything except the water heater, dryer, and stove. Our air conditioner only draws 13.8 amps on startup. And this generator didn't even cough when it came on. We're running about a gallon of gasoline for every two hours based on our usage. The first three days we had no electricity and we ran a generator for 10 hours.

I wanted to be prepared for our next outage so I needed a generator I could depend on. I am one that does a lot of research before I buy anything. I found this one and I watched a lot of videos, read reviews and articles. We broke it in and it runs amazing! I got the 9500df. I love the remote. Instructions are very understanding so I believe I am ready for next outage. I made a good decision on this. Thank you a Westinghouse!!

I purchased this about three weeks ago and it has worked as advertised. Started up easily the first time and everything worked. Have been running it on gas mostly for the break-in but tried propane and it also ran great. Haven't had a chance to run it extensively under a heavy load, but don't foresee any issues.

Purchased this generator after losing power for the second time in one month. After a lot of research, this had exactly what we needed (dual power with either propane or gas). We like the fact that we can operate our fridge, deep freeze, tankless water heater, and more with one generator. Gives us the peace of mind knowing that we won't lose everything until the power comes back on. Only advice that we have, when you make the purchase, make sure you have someone with you. It is heavy.

Just bought this generator and it works fantastic. Love that it has multiple options to source electricity and run (propane, gas, natural gas). Setup is a breeze and learning to use it was even easier. Not sure the remote control makes sense, but its definitely pretty cool and Westinghouse thought of everything when making this product.

My new Wgen9500DF arrived just ahead of TS Elsa that is moving up the coast. It took me 90 mins to read manual (recommended; will be needed to program remote starter) and get it started. Following the instructions and it started right up. I ran it for 15 mins or so without load and now ready if needed due to TS Elsa. Thanks Westinghouse. Chuck

It was out of the box and operational in about one hour. Since we are using an interlock kit for the panel, I spent more time identifying the breakers than setting up the generator. It fired up the second time and was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. When I used the remote key, I knew my days of pulling a cord 50 times were over. As a side note and for ease of starting load, we added a "soft start" to our A/C. This generator runs the house and garage. We do turn off a couple of unused breakers. Stats: Single story 2,800 sqft and 800 sqft. Gets a big thumbs up from us.
