We bought this as an emergency back up when the power goes out. The design, with dual fuel, is great. Propane will store for decades and works great for this purpose. Hope we never need it but is peace of mind to have it. In Idaho, you need heat in the winter and this will power most of our house.

I just bought this generator to replaced a Generac I had that died. The ease of use was a determining factor for me with the remote start. I have not had a chance to use the generator yet but setting it up and testing it, I know if will be easy to use and that makes me happy!

I just bought this in the middle of July and just received it but I'm in the process of moving so i will unpack it at the new place. It's without a doubt,one of the best investments I've ever made. I decided to buy one after I heard my sister's run so I decided to order one. I've always been a big Westinghouse fan ever since using their products for many years. This unit here has everything you need, when out camping or during an emergency power outage. To be honest I didn't purchase it because of everything that it did but because of the name itself and that's a plus. Sorry that I can't send more photos or a video right now but I can't wait to use it!! I bought many generators in my life but none of them are as nice as this one so people ,what are you waiting for get you one 😁👍

I have had many different brands of generators in the past, but was very impressed at all the features, and options this unit has. I love the remote key fob start, the battery switch and it runs for a longer time on a tank of gas or propane than those I have had in the past. Great generator and the price is right.

I BOUGHT THE IGEN2500 4 MONTHS AGO AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE TO POWER MY WHOLE HOUSE AND RUN ON PROPANE. THIS WILL DO THAT EASILY. IT'S QUIET ENOUGH TO RUN ON MY BACK PATIO THROUGH A TRANSFER SWITCH. THE REMOTE START IS VERY HANDY AT NIGHT! WITH PROPER MAINTENANCE,I WILL BE ABLE TO DEPEND ON THIS GENERATOR FOR A LONG TIME.

Generator works great but craftsmanship could be improved. both lower crossbraces were slightly bent but were easliy straightened. Generator is louder than most so don't expect a quite Honda like sound. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound well worth the money!

So easy to use. It starts every time and stopping is fast and easy. Easy to move around the job site due to the large wide wheels. Nice tubular frame to keep it from being beat up. Run multiple cords and voltages. Best portable generator I have ever owned.

I haven't used the generator yet, but It has everything I need to stay warm in the next storm. I have a transfer switch being installed next week, and the electrician thought this was a good purchase. I feel confident that this will be good when the time comes that I need it.

I just took this out of the box and put it together. I am giving it 4 stars without even running it one time. I did notice the included oil does not fill the oil reserve past the low indicator. I purchased such a large generator to hook up to a transfer switch and believe the dual fuel option is a necessity in Florida. I am in the process of reading through the manual to ensure longevity of the generator which seems easy enough to maintain. I am a bit leery of switching between propane and gas as I have read several reviews that included this issue. I am also interested in how the remote start will function. This may be a lemon so take my review as you wish.

So far am very satisfied. This generator is rated at all the power needed to run a household in emergency situations. Bought along with the Automatic ST Switch to automatically power necessary 110 volt items. Haven't wired into house yet, but have run multiple high starting draw items along with heaters and power tools in the garage during break-in running. From what I have seen, I don't think this generator will have any problem running the household. My opinion is that this is an ideal setup for in town use at an affordable price as opposed to unreasonably priced Generac and Kohler automatic generators. Really like the key fob push button start as well.
