I bought in Feb 2021, when the big snowstorm happened in San Antonio, TX, we weren't prepared but we are now! We got enough power to assist our family and neighbors should there be another crisis. Has Great features including a remote start, 12500 Peak Watts, plenty of outlets - we highly recommend it!

I just bought this generator and I am very pleased with the quality of the product. Although I haven't used it yet, it is great upgrade from the small portable generator I had been using when our electricity went out. The electric start and the duel fuel sold me on this product.

I bought this unit a little over a month ago now. I installed a 50Amp Outlet on the exterior of my home and a 50 Amp breaker with a mechanical interlock with the main breaker. This has proven to be a really good solution at a substantially lower cost than a standby unit. Yes, I have to flip a couple breakers and roll the unit out my garage and plug it in but that about it. As infrequent power losses are, this is more than adequate for me. The remote start is awesome. I use it to start the unit after it plugged in and I have flipped the breakers in my breaker panel. It’s nice that you can shut the unit down to conserve fuel at night or when you leave and start and stop it suing the remote. Really a great idea. The solid tires are a really good move as well. I have used units with air filled tires before and they leak and it makes it very very difficult to move them. The one thing I would like to be different is the location of the 50A outlet on the unit would be for that outlet to be in a different spot, swapped with one of the other outlets. The issue is, the 50A outlet is located on the far right directly above the highest point of the wheel. This creates an obstruction to the natural position of the heavy 50A cable needed to connect to this outlet on the generator. (See attached photo) All of the other outlets require a much lighter duty cable, due to their lower power levels, therefore it would be much better to have one of those (perhaps the 120 vac outlets) above the wheel. It was quite difficult to manipulate the cable to use this outlet with a bottom exit cable which is the most common and safest solution in the event of rain, etc. I gave the unit a 4 Star rating specifically because of this design shortfall. If a 4.5 options was available, I would have selected it. If it wasn’t for this, I would have given a 5 star without a doubt.

I had it setup with 50amp and interlock on my main breaker. Tested the generator and was able to run everything I needed. I will see if it can handle hot water tank that would be perfect. Quieter than my old Generac. Loved that I can start it on propane then switch to gasoline. Just need to see how well it holds up after next power outage.

Just bought the generator so I cannot comment on how it performed during power outage. I can say that the setup was straight forward and the generator started right up. I plugged to my transfer switch and it had no problem powering all my selected circuits. Machine is well built and is easy to move around. I am very happy with it,

I just bought this generator and once I got my home connections installed and in place, the generator performed as expected. I am using the generator’s natural gas connection, and I used the 50-amp connection and powered my entire house, and it worked very well. I was able to turn on all the lights in my house plus use the microwave without any loading of the generator. I am very pleased with my purchase, and now I am ready to endure any power failures my utility company might have.

Glad I bought this. I need it for Houston. About to power it up for the hurricane. It is large and heavy, and doing the extra delivery help is probably a good idea. It requires a large-ish storage area but once it’s on the wheels it’s quite easy to maneuver.

I'm very impressed with Westinghouse the quality of this generator. After returning generator from a different manufacture due to mechanical issues, I decided to buy a Westinghouse based of their review ratings and comments. I'm so glad I did! This generator is of better quality than the other one that I had, has more useful features, more power, and was $100 cheaper! If you're in the market for a generator, you should seriously give Westinghouse a chance; I promise you will not be disappointed!

I was torn between this and a cheaper brand from a department store, I’m glad I went with this one! Seems like a real good quality product, everything is heavy duty, no cheap parts that I can tell. Love the electric start feature, haven’t used this during an outage yet, but with natural gas , my load isn’t that high. This generator will power my whole house ( minus the A/C). My only negative experience was getting it started for the first time took a lot of fighting. Electric start would not start it, I tried manually starting it as well which would not work. Lastly, I opened the carburetor cover and sprayed some starting fluid in it while it was cranking, and after three tries it fired up and ran well for an hour. Also be sure you use 5-30 synthetic if you live anywhere temps can get below 0. 1.1 quart is not enough oil to get the level within range on the dip stick, it took 1.4 .

When I first Bought this generator I was nervous because it was a great price so I expected it to be cheaply built, I was Wrong! This thing is awesome! Has great features and everything I was looking for to be a back up home generator! I’m so impressed!
