I recently bought the 12500/9500 duel fuel generator for hurricane season and I love it. Arrived on time, very easy to set up and get running. The remote start and shut off is outstanding. I especially love that the battery has a disconnect for storage

Just received the item today. The positive reviews I read were spot on for a reliable first time start generator. Everything came in the kit and was an easy setup for any skill level. I have run it on no load and then with just a refrigerator and air compressor but no issue to loaded with ease. Next test will be once i finish 50A back-feed to house.

I am very impressed with this Generator. I knew of Westinghouse name from Kitchen appliances and TV but generator was new to me. I still decided to invest a lot in the DF9500 model. First I have always hated using gas in equipment as the old gas causes problems. With the Propane option, I am very happy. First it is safe to use and store. I have yet to use the generator but very impressed with it. One thing I would tell the Westinghouse engineers is at to add some padding (internal packaging material) around the bottom of the box as it was damaged. I had seen other reviewers saying their units were damaged and had box damage but my generator luckily was fine.

Love the concept of it worked. Started hard when I first got it home, but figured out it had to be manually choked and crank over about a dozen times to start. Then less than a year later it has electrical issues and will not even turn over. Will see how good the warranty service is.

Bought this generator to replace my old Briggs and Stratton 5500 Storm Responder. Assembly was straight forward for the wheel kit. Started right up and is noticeably quieter than my old unit and very fuel efficient. Love the dual fuel option. Like the push button start along with the pull cord back up. The remote start works flawlessly, love it. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Totally impressed with this product from the moment I opened the shipping container. Everything needed to operate the unit was there-- except the gas. LOL. you even provide the wrench to assemble the mounting feet-- took all of 15 minutes for the wheels and feet. The generator itself is extremely well constructed with no thin metal parts that would tend to rattle around during operation. I would say that I got the most " bang for my bucks" with this purchase.

I am getting my family ready for the hurricane season and finding a generator to connect to our transfer switch was of top priority. Having a propane option was a must for me for the reason that it stores over time better. We are very happy with this generator and I love the remote start option.

I purchased this In July.I’m glad I received this in a timely manner.We have a lot of power outages in this rural area.Dual fuel was a must.Put it together with the help of my brother.We followed directions and it was a breeze.Love the push button start and remote.9500 watts will take care of all my needs.

So far very happy. Bought and broke in to Westinghouse recommendations via HDdotcom also got a great deal from them. I'd give 4-1/2stars if i could as my concerns thus far are minor. I don't like the location of the ground terminal under the 50amp receptacle it protrudes a little for my 90degree plug but it's still fine. My other concern is that I just don't like the wheels being attached by a cotter pin. When full of gas and rolling the wheels are angled just doesn't seem strong to last a long time. All in all does what its supposed to do so far so I would recommend

This product will fit the needs of our household in the event of an unexpected interruption to our electricity. I purchased this particular model because of the many features and its ease of use. I hope I don't have to use it any time soon but if I do, this model will take care of our entire 3600 sq.foot home.
