Purchased this after my old generator died. Was looking for 50 amp output and dual fuel. This unit had all the features I was looking for. The remote electric start feature is great! During tht test runs the generator performed well. We have not had a power outage since I purchased the generator, so the real test is still ahead. So far very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this for piece of mind if and when we loose power again for multiple days. Added oil and fuel out of the box and it started first try. Love the remote start feature. I plan to use the generator through an interlock setup with the house power.

I bought this a month ago, approximately used it for a few days for the first two weeks. I had it and then went out there to crank it and it won't start. Can't get it to do. Nothing was running fine when I shut it off the day before. Not happy at the moment

I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, but when I do, I’ll update. This is for home use, after Texas lost power last winter, I didn’t want to get caught without again. This generator is amazing, so far. Very little prep involved, and what there is is pretty simple. It seems to be very nice, and watching and reading what others thought, I think I made the right choice.

I originally had a diesel generator that could power my whole home in a power outage, this unit is not only has more wattage, but is insanely quiet. I couldn't believe when I first started it how quiet it was. Everything worked as it should, so far I am impressed with it, after I finish the break in period I will hook it up and give it a crack at powering the entire home.

I received the Westinghouse 9,500/12,500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator a couple weeks ago. It works great and is not as loud as others like it. We feel prepared for those unplanned power outages. Overall, very satisfied with the purchasing process and faster than estimated freight delivery.

I bought this generator to hook up to my 250 gallon propane tank so I wouldn’t have to run to buy gasoline every time there was a storm. This generator was perfect for what I wanted to do. I love that it was easy to assemble and programming the remote start button was a breeze. Instructions were easily understood and I got the generator out of the box and running in about 20 minutes. Started on the first try ran smooth and was quieter than I thought it Waukesha be for a 12500 watt generator. The wheels are sturdy and the handle folds up to move the generator. It’s not heavy and rolls easy. Looks like a quality piece of machinery that I will get years of use out of.

I bought this about a month ago and so far am very happy. Really good price for the size of the unit, can nearly power my whole house with this one unit and for a fraction of the price of the whole home generators. Fuel consumption is impressive for its size.

The generator works good. I am able to run my home's old central 3-ton AC, and more. I had an electrician put a 50 amp inlet to my breaker box. The only issue is that I need to use starter fluid (spray can) to get the engine to start when cold. I use the remote electric start and spray some fluid into the air filter when the engine starts turning over, and it starts. When warmed up it starts on its own. I like the fact that it comes with a battery charger. Every couple of months of storage you should charge the battery for 8 hours. I like the remote start. If I want, I can start and stop the generator from inside my house.

I just received my new WGen9500DF. My new garage is awaiting completion where I plan to use this as 240V power for welding when needed and, first and foremost, as a home backup power source for outages. The generator was received in excellent condition and attaching the wheels and feet and adding the supplier oil took all of 10 minutes. Next best thing to "no assembly required". I can't wait to put it to use!!! I've used a small 40 year old Dayton 3000/2000 in the past which kept my refrigerators and a couple other items going, but had to be filled up ever 2.5 to 3 hours. With this one, I can tap into the house using the proper switching equipment and be confident that we can weather any outage by selectively using anything in the house up to the run rating and not worry about frequent refills or the availability of power at gas stations due to the dual fuel capability.
