I bought this in September of 2020. Everyone that I know with a generator offered the same advice on what to buy...get as big as you can afford and the more outlet options the better. This one really shines in all of those. We have used it twice since we got it. It ran all night on a tank of gas and it ran 2 space heaters, multiple lights, TV/Satellite, and fridge without a whimper! The only negative I can think of is that it does make some noise. But the sound of no power is deafening. Another big plus is the dual fuel option. You never know when gas may not be available and your propane grill may save the day!

My son gave this to me so that I would not be without power for long periods as sometimes happens in my area. I hope I do not have to use it, but the basic setup was easy and directions are very clear. There are many YouTube videos that are helpful. It is heavy. I think that moving it will be the hardest step in using it.

Just purchased this product. It arrived in good order and the instructions were clear and well written. Everything that I needed was provided including oil and tools and all parts. I'm running it on propane and it started right up. Looks like a quality tool and I am sure that it will be very handy during the next big storm

Remote start and automatic choke are great features. I can setup for a touchless startup: 1) place WGEN9500 in set outdoor position, and plug in 50amp cable connecting unit to house, 2) prep/switchover circuits at electrical power, 3) startup remotely & wait 2 minutes, 4) switch on select house circuits. Looking for a 20 year life!

Just received this unit and it is a very nice unit and will provide the necessary power needed to operate the house. Very easy to assemble and to get started the first time I plan on using it in my shop also. very easy to operate and I like the dual fuel feature.

I purchased this generator to be a backup power source for a 2200 sq. ft. house. Has enough wattage to handle everything I need ( sump pump, well water pump, pressure tank, AC, refrigerator, TV, Lights, etc) during power out emergencies. Wired to house with a 50 amp cord.

Living on the gulf coast, we have frequent storms and lose power for extended times. I have a couple small Westinghouse inverter generators that have worked perfectly. Our biggest problem is that we have a water well and trying to keep the refrigerators and freezers running while using a small window unit to keep 1 room cool while we wait for our power to be turned back on. We just had Hurricane Beryl hit us and we lost power for 4 days. No showers, had to haul water to flush toilets, moving extension cords constantly to keep everything going. Very exhausting to say the least. After much research and great reviews, I purchase the WGen9500 Dual Fuel and installed a generator disconnect to my breaker box so I could power my whole house. I got the dual fuel so I can have a couple 100# propane bottles for backup as sometimes finding gas after a windstorm is impossible. I received the generator in perfect condition, read through the manual, added the supplied oil and filled the tank with fresh gas. I quick push of the remote and if fired up on the first try. I performed the initial break-in by plugging in a shop fan, small electric heater and a 1hp air compressor. I let them cycle for 8 hours and the generator never missed a beat. The following weekend, I connected it to my house. I flipped the breakers on all of the un-necessary items, just keeping my water well, my 4 ton ac and refrigerator and freezer running. The 9500 ran everything just like I needed to too. Hopefully we won't have another windstorm for a long time, but if we do, I'll be ready with the WGen9500. The remote start is going to be a lifesaver for sure!

This actually has understandable instructions for ltd. assembly and for starting and usage. Very "woman" friendly. I live in a mountainous area that loses power for week at a time in winter sometimes so this generator with a Generlink allows me to power the whole house rather than to be confined to fire heat and candles because it has large wattage to handle the job. PLUS it has a little remote control to start the unit with from the house. What a plus. I am SO happy. Oh, and a handle to moving this 300 lb unit is a snap whether you are big and strong or not!

We bought this after several recent storms and seeing our current generator couldn't handle our needs. After trying this generator, it has every possible feature needed or desired, short of a permanent whole house natural gas setup. Wheel it out, plug it in, flip the breaker, push the start button and you're in business.
