Great Features and a few concerns

So I reviewed many Items and sites in an attempt to get a generator that would do it all. Many bonuses, including the Remote start and Dual fuel sold me. I waited a little while to add a review. One initial concern was that when running on generator My Tv and my work station would remain on Battery mode and not line mode. After reaching out, I was advised of the Info I needed to make needed adjustments. Issue was that the HTZ "Hertz" or maybe the THD was to High. I was able to Lower the Speed and change the HTZ and possibly the THD (No way for me to measure that output). Once I adjusted the HTZ from 63.5 to 61.0 the UPS Backup allowed power to charge and run the devices. I hope this helps others. If your needs do not exceed about 3800 Watts the more portable option with Low THD inverter they offer may be a better fit. I may also get that one to supplement my needs. Another thing is I used this a few Hours during the Texas FREEZE. It would not initially start. Pro Tip is that if temperature is very cold maybe 0 to 25F etc you may need to pre-warm Generator so that Fuel will ignite and oil will Flow. I used a small propane heater. Last tip. Be sure to use Four people to lift or a mechanical lift. I am still trying to overcome the pain from lifting the over 300 pounds. All being said I think this Generator will serve me well for many years ahead.

Great looking and very sturdy frame

The generator is easy to maneuver in tight storage area as well as easy to tuck out of the way.The flex fuel feature is also very convenient and the capacity of the unit fits all of our needs so I am confident that in the upcoming hurricane season I will be ready for all power outages.

2 Louisiana Hurricanes Later and still going!

Purchased this after Hurricane Laura devastated our SWLA and we were left without power. It was estimated to be several weeks before electricity to be restored. This generator exceeded our expectations in keeping my home cool and the food from spoiling in the fridges! A few weeks later, it got us through Hurricane Delta. Running this full time for weeks was an economical and efficient option. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Purchase - Quick Delivery

Purchased to replace my Homelite 5700. Quick delivery and setup. Cranked on first try in both propane and zero ethanol gasoline. Quieter than my older Homelite and easier to operate. Needed sufficient operating power for home backup for essential electrical needs this winter. The remote start is a great feature.

Impressive Generator

I just received the generator today, it arrived in perfect condition. The user manual is very concise, so the assembly went without a hitch. I've ordered a 50 amp generator cord to hook the generator directly into the breaker box and will put it to the test soon. With the Florida hurricane season approaching I'm now prepared. One of the reasons I selected this generator is because of the 50 amp outlet. I have a 1400 square foot home so this generator should handle the whole house including the A/C, a requirement for my wife. This generator is packed with features that are only available on more costly generators. Read the reviews, this is the generator you need.

Remote start

Just received my wgen9500. Starts right up , has so many features for the price. Has visual gas gauge on top. Remote start, usb not sure if I would use that. But I could see my children being plugged in. Has a main breaker. My only issue is for the wheels it should be on one rod. It’s split. If that is my only problem with it I’ll take it.

Simple setup and love the dual fuel and remote

I'm going to use this as a whole house standby in case of storms. I like the dual fuel option, but my plan is to only use propane, so I stocked up on 4 spare 20lb tanks. Propane puts out slightly less power but lasts forever. The generator went together easily, just the feet and wheels needed assembly and of course oil fill and battery connection. It came with oil and a oil fill, very nice. I connected to propane with the included hose and regulator to my tank, pressed the start button and after just a second or two of cranking it fired right up (on propane no issues). This unit even with reduced power to 8500 watts is more than enough for the 30amp twist lock connector. My electrician comes next week to install a 30amp interlock, then i can try it out as a test. My amp measurements show short of my electric dryer it should power everything including my two split AC systems and oil fired burner with no problem. The remote is added bonus as I can start the unit from inside after switching the breaker panel over. I expect it will be very handy in bad weather.

Great generator but lack of initial instructions

This generator packs a punch when it comes to performance. The remote start feature is an absolute game-changer, offering unparalleled convenience. Once you get the hang of it, this machine is a reliable power source. However, the initial setup can be frustrating due to unclear instructions. It took some trial and error to fully understand the generator's functions. A more comprehensive quick start manual would definitely improve the user experience. Despite this hiccup, the generator's performance and the remote start feature make it a valuable asset.

SO FAR SO GOOD!

Still brand new, so we'll need to see if it delivers when really needed, but it works just fine for now. Aside from nuts for the feet being welded not exactly in front of the holes where the bolts were supposed to be inserted, everything else appears impeccable.

Wow! Great Customer Experience!!

Delivery to our remote home was right to the driveway! The setup out of the box was very easy - just attaching the feet and wheels. It is VERY heavy (as expected) so a dolly may be helpful. All I had to do was add the provided oil, gas, connect the battery cables, turn on the fuel switch, and here's the part that blew my mind . . . it started on the first push of the start button!! Wow, I thought I'd probably need to wear myself out on the pull start for a few minutes, but not to be. Super simple!
