I've been using the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc Generator and it's been fantastic. The convenience of having two fuel sources, gas and LPG, makes it incredibly versatile. I just received it last Tuesday and hooked it up to try it out using propane. Instructions was so simply to follow and even has all tools need it to assembly it, heck , even the oil funnel. This monster crank up and really, for the big it is, its not that loud at all. I let the wife crank it up for the first time using the remote start and what a smile on her face. That's one of the reason i got it, the remote start.

My generator arrived in perfect condition and it was an easy step by step assembly with product literature that was well written and good photo illustrations. It is just what I needed building an off grid cabin on our lake property. We powered our RV with the 50 amp outlet by night and power tools by day. I would recommend this generator to a friend

Competitively priced, fast delivery, on time, positive and professional delivery crew, unboxing and assembly of the wheels and supports took minutes, be prepared for the weight, started right up and break in period went without a hitch. have it plugged into the house via 50amp outlet/inlet and interlock kit. ran everything I have planned for emergency outages without a hitch, I must disclose I have a gas water heater, stove, and drier. But everything else is electric and handled a normal home operation easily. Satisfied, now just have to stock up on fuel. btw the fuel draw advertised is pretty accurate.

This generator comes with a remote control and that doesn’t make sense. You can’t start or stop the engine unless you physically attach or detach the electrical connection according to the operations manual. Also if running on propane you have to manually turn off the propane gas valve to stop flow. If you simply press start or stop on the remote without making the physical changes you run the risk of damaging the generator and in the case of propane you run the risk of creating a substantial gas leak. I ask Westinghouse what does the remote accomplish?

I purchased this unit because it has three ways to start it and three ways to provide fuel (gas, propane or natural gas) for a reasonable price. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it. Most importantly to me, it was very easy to assemble and I am a 70 year old woman!

Just got it today and I had to try it out already . I love the electric start and the remote start the most . It's enough to run my wall mounted A/C unit and everything I might need in a power outage . I've been needing a new generator for a while and I am very happy to have this one .

We upgraded to this more powerful W.Gen9500 generator after experiencing a few hurricanes here in South Texas and realizing we needed more generator power for the appliances we wanted to run during an outage. It arrived on time and in good shape and started up immediately. We bought an adapter (shown as optional purchase) and added it to the end of our extension cord to allow for multiple plug in options. Rated 4 star because we actually have not had occasion to use it yet. Hopefully, it will turn out to be a 5-star product!

Received the generator this morning and within an hour it was up and running! Detailed instruction manual was clearly written. I can't wait to try the remote start and down the road I'm going to use the Transfer feature which was one of the selling points for me. Great job Westinghouse!
