This generator was exceptionally easy to set up and start using. It took me less than 15 minutes to get the generator unboxed, assembled and filled with oil and gas. It started up immediately using the push button start. I shut it down and tried the remote start which also worked perfectly. I then plugged the generator into my transfer switch and was able to power my water pump, air conditioning and all my 120V devices that I normally leave on (modem, router, TV, ceiling fans, etc.) with no apparent strain on the generator. I live on the North Carolina coast and bought this generator for backup power since hurricane season is approaching. I hope I don't need it, but I now have a little more peace of mind knowing I'll be able to shower, cook and watch local news if we do lose power for several days like we did with Florence.

We live in a rural area with a well and wanted to make sure that no matter the weather we would have enough power to run the entire 2500 sq. ft. home when the power went out. Received the unit a couple of days ago and was very easy to put together. I will not be using gasoline as I don't want to store something so volatile on the property so I will be running this entirely on Propane. Kicked right over on first attempt and runs the whole house! Build quality appears very good and documentation is very thorough. Not concerned now if the power goes out. BTW, the remote start is very nice to have!

I bought this generator for emergency uses after hurricane beryl, im glad I did this generator powers multiple things for an entire family don't hesitate to get one I highly recommend it, look forward to utilizing mine for years to come, quality components and generator, thank you Westinghouse!

I just bought this a few weeks ago preparing for hurricane season; I have not had a need to use it yet. It started right up, and I ran it today for a bit with a light load on it and it didn't blink at all so I have confidence it will do well when needed to handle a larger load. Assembly was simple, just the wheels and feet. Its output, three startup options, and ability to run on gasoline or propane led to my choosing this model.

Everything arrived without damage or missing parts, so I'm looking forward to getting this beast up and running! I was looking for a generator that could power my entire house in a power failure. I installed a 50a 250v interconnect at my main panel. I also installed a MicroAir Easy Start on my AC compressor to lower the inrush amps. I installed an IotaWatt power monitor and discovered that my average load ranged from 600 watts to about 7k watts with the a/c running but excluding my 240v powered appliances. Except for the 240v dryer and oven, all my other loads should be easily handled by this big guy. I haven't used it yet, but for the money, I don't see anyone offering a generator that meets my requirements. I was a bit worried about the choking issues experienced by some reviewers. I will post an update later after I have run my generator and find out if I have any unpleasant surprises, I'm not expecting any!

When I first Bought this generator I was nervous because it was a great price so I expected it to be cheaply built, I was Wrong! This thing is awesome! Has great features and everything I was looking for to be a back up home generator! I’m so impressed!

Replaced my 14 year old generator (not a Westinghouse) with this Westinghouse. I was so impressed by all the features that were not on my old generator. I liked the auto start, propane/gasoline feature, CO detector, and straightforward instructions. I believe the manual covered any questions I may have....this means alot when you're older!

I bought this generator close to a month ago and today got it wired to be used for the house. I am very happy with the purchase. The generator powered my entire house and works great with gas and propane. Would recommend this to anyone looking to have a generator for whole house using the 50amp nema cable.

We are so pleased with our generator. We like that it can be powered by propane. This generator is very powerful and can run our entire house and RV. We no longer have to worry about power outages or camping remotely where there are no hookups. Thank you, Westinghouse!

I bought this two months ago online. It's easy to start and hooked up and ready to power the whole house with a switch on my circuit breaker panel. It comes with motor oil, and a hose for propane use. There will be enough power to keep my water pump running!
