I bought this generator for use on stormy days when the power goes out, living in East Texas this happens a few times per year for up to a day. So having a home generator to supplement is very helpful. great unit start up every time and lasts long when on gasoline.

I bought this generator on 7/26/24 and received it on 8/15/24, 10 days later than the original date of arrival, 8/5. The delay interrupted my schedule so I have only been able to unbox, install the wheels and read the manual. I have not run or tested the generator. My rating is based only on what I see with regard to design. Pull handle should lock in place while in use. I will upgrade the rating, after the break-in run and meter testing, if warranted. If the generator operates as it should, the price would lead me to recommend it to friends.

I did a good amount of research before deciding on the Westinghouse 9500 Generator. The build quality is excellent, runs like a charm and gave best bang for the buck. Hopefully will never have to use it but I am confident it will be there for me when I need it as long as I exercise it regularly and perform recommended maintenance.

Bought this gen. because of the power outages in our area. It came quickly and was very easy to set up and get running. Our house already has a transfer switch and the gen. plugged right in [ with an already available power cord] . It started right up with either gas or propane and we are now ready for PG&E to do their thing.

Easy to assemble and start running out of the box. Quieter than I expected it to be and the remote start works from a long distance. Started on the first try. Have not had a chance to run my house off of it yet but I’m confident it will with no trouble.

Just purchased this machine after suffering through separate power outages. Dual fuel and remote start should come in handy. Would be great to have the ability to run from an auxiliary fuel tank. Pick point and amp meter would put this over the top. Will rate 5 stars when it pulls us through the next outage.

I bought my generator on Nov 16 2021 I wanted my family to be prepared in case we had another power outage I was very happy with the delivery and the setup was fast and simple my generator started right up and so far so good hope I wont have to use it

I bought this generator to supply power to our house during power outages and also for powering various farm tools where power is not available. I like the electric start and the duel fuel as I have propane tank right next to house. It appears to meet all my needs. I've started it and ran it for 1 hr. to break it in. Easy set-up and instructions.

We bought our WGen9500DF to have as a power back up at home since we are total Electric, we love it and actually use it for many things around our property while doing projects. Love the Dual Fuel ability and the Wireless Keyfob Remote start. We love the features on this unit.

Unfortunately power in the neighborhood seems to go out more than in the past. I am so happy with this purchase. The ease to setup was as easy as it gets. I bought the generator to power the whole house if an outage occurs. It does just that. Very happy with my purchase.
