I wanted to purchase a generator that runs on natural gas, when we have storms or the power is out, I didn't want to have to worry about finding fuel in an outage. So far I really like this machine, it runs very well on natural gas, and gasoline. I haven't tried propane yet, but eventually I probably will.

I been looking for a generator for several months and was provided information on this one by a close friend. The ability to use two different fuels is a plus for me. I really like the fact that the generator is on wheels, which makes it easier to be used by the females in my family. I have always been impressed by Westinghouse products.

I bought this because we have more ice storms and power interruptions every winter and we have less confidence in the power grid. This is very maneuverable with the wheels and handle. Has enough power to keep the house running for way less money for a permanent setup with basically the same watts. Plus it's portable so you can also use it at the cabin or hunting shack etc... it took about 2 minutes to put the wheels and feet on and add the oil. Hooked up a propane tank and it started right up. Not as loud as I expected either so that's a plus.

I am so happy that I purchased this unit. We installed a home transfer switch for Hurricane prep, and this unit is the perfect size to run all necessities in the house. The option for propane and gas is also an excellent feature. Set-up was easy, and maintenance and running are straightforward.

I have not tried it out but specs look good. Nice to have multiple power options for different situations. I would like liked to have known the size of the natural gas insert plug and disconnect connector (1/2 inch) to get the right size quick connection for my home natural gas line

We selected the WGen9500TFc model to replace a B&S Storm Respnder 5500 which had been converted to tri-fuel. This upgrade will cover all the necessary loads during multi day power outages we experience here in Houston. May not be as convenient as a whole house unit but much more cost efficient. This new unit will make the next storm easier to manage. Three year warranty is a bonus for peace of mind.

We bought this as our backup power supply for our new solar system with a direct connect. The unit is clearly well-built and very easy to get set up and running. If I were to complain about anything on the unit I would say that I wish it ran quieter. It seems like this would be an easy thing for WH to modify with a better muffler system. It's not horrible but you do not want it running near where you are socializing for long periods of time. The fuel tank takes about 6.6 gallons of gasoline. I put about 3 gallons in the tank the first time and could not tell if the fuel gage was registering or not. It may require a full tank to register, or the 'dial indicator' is not working.

This generator is the Cadillac of all generators!!! The best of the best highly recommended. It’s fast simple and easy to use. Westinghouse has a great support team and will take care of you! I bought this generator to power my house during monsoon season as power goes out in the crazy heat waves here in Arizona. So far I have ran my 2.5 ton central A/c fridge, chest freezer and garage door opener. Everything else in my house minus the hot water heater stove washer and dryer but who needs those in a heat wave!! If I needed to I could shut everything else down and run those independent. I had people driving up and down my street wondering why my house was lit up while the whole town was out pitch black. My wife says to me I have never seen this many people driving up and down our street. I said they wanna see why our house was lit up and theirs wasn’t. The only thing I can say is do your reasearch and put the right Plug on your house as I did mine twice. I started with the 30 amp and found out that I couldn’t get the full potential of the generator at 12,500 so I had the electrician come back and put the 50 amp on. So I was able to run whole house. 30 amp is limited to 9500 so don’t make the mistake I did.

I live in a rural area and we have power outages often. I have a small generator that I would use to keep the refrigerators and freezer running. I bought this generator so I could connect it to my electrical panel with a cable and run most everything during an outage. It works great and I am ready for the next outage.
