I wanted a generator that can run our home A/C and other essentials during a power outage. The WGen9500DF right out of the box started right up by using the remote. It had to crank a few seconds until fuel primed - then started up fast. I tried a few starts no issue, instant on. We bought the ST Switch with Smart Portable Automatic Transfer Technology and hooked it up for a test. Simulated a power outage and as advertised the generator immediately kicked on by itself and provided emergency power. We simulated a power restore and it transferred power power back to the utility. Buy this if it is large enough (check your needs). Excellent product! I can't tell you about reliability over the long term as it is new for us but it works well. We will get a soft start for our A/C to help things along.... I am a design in a nuclear powerplant and this back up generator is a slick home back up system that is affordable. The dual fuel option is also a nice feature.

The generator arrived in perfect condition. All the generator parts were attached, unlike a competitor brand that I had previously ordered and returned. It started right up with no hesitation and runs very smooth and was a lot quieter than I was expecting.

I bought the smaller brother (7500DF) and liked it so much that I bought the bigger brother (9500DF). It has a push start, runs on either propane or gasoline. Propane is so easy and no worries about leftover fuel when done. Simply turn off propane valve and power down the GEN. It has wheels and a pull handle for ease of movement. Well designed and thought out. If I need more power, I will buy the bigger model. Love it and would highly recommend to friends and family.

We moved out to the sticks 2 years ago and we lost power randomly at least once per month. With a new one on the way, we knew we needed reassurance that we would have power in case of emergency, and this generator didn’t disappoint. Very happy with purchase.

Little confusing with serial number having a sticker placed over plate with printed white sticker with serial number. Not 100% sure I have the right serial number listed. The owners manual was OK but a little different depending on which particular model you were assembling. I found the You-Tube Video of someone assembling this exact model and it addressed all my questions. Love this model so far.

I bought this as a back up power source for my home during hurricane's or power outages in storms, and I'm glad I did. It is so easy to set up and use with the electric start, and remote control. My wife loves it. If I'm gone, she just uses the remote control and she is all set up with quick power. We use it on Propane tanks, we have 3, and that is enough for 2 and a half days. I would buy it again. Comes with a trickle charger for the battery.

Bought generator 1 week ago, arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble few required items. Started on first try with electric start and key fob made starting and stopping from inside house easy. Generator puts out good amount of power even on propane. It is pretty heavy and is harder to move around for those of smaller statue. Noise level is louder than would like, noisier than some generators but quieter than others.

I just got this generator to replace an aged Yamaha 3000iseb for emergency backup purposes. I was concerned about the potential noise level. I have only run it on propane so far, but it started easily and runs more quietly than I expected. I started it at my shop, where I plan to run it, and walked the 100 feet to the house behind the shop to ask if my wife thought it was too loud. I literally could not hear it. She was pleased.

I bought this generator first because it was American made and dual fuel which gives me twice the runtime without refueling since I can switch fuels gasoline and propane on the fly. This is very easy to do especially for my wife when I am not at home. The remote start feature is great for her on a cold day when all she has to do is flip one switch to use the other fuel

Great unit, perfectly priced, started on 1st try with Propane tank, with the supplied remote starter. 30 Amp or 50 Amp options. The unit was packaged with everything you need, except the wiring as would would make sense. The User Manual was very detailed and fully informative. Read section on GFCI outlets.
