Excellent quality and features

I did my research on portable generators. There are a number of good units by other brands. I chose the wgen9500df because of the power and versatility of fuels. The option of gas and propane for the minimal extra cost is a no-brainer. I’m a mechanically-minded person and I’ve worked with tools, engines, construction sites, shops, all my life. I’m impressed with the design, features and quality construction of this unit. Everything has been thought-through. I highly recommend this unit. I can see why this unit had such excellent reviews.

Nice machine!

I picked this generator up a few days ago, easy to set up, and I fired it up, using the remote button and hooked up to Propane. It fired right up! I let it run for about 15 minutes plugged in a couple of things, a small heater, and it never flinched. Even if I never have to use it, it is great comfort to know I can keep my family warm in the winter and cool in the summer and be able to have hot water and run most appliances with this baby! Being a tri-fuel product, I am in the country and don’t expect to use the natural gas but it’s a good feeling knowing I can use gasoline or propane.

Perfect Generator for any Fullsize 50Amp 5th Wheel

The is the perfect generator to provide all the power you will ever need for a fullsize 5th Wheel RV that needs 50 Amp power to run everything. The generator runs off the RVs propane system or Unleaded (Non-Ethanol) Gasoline. It runs quiet and smooth, has no power fluctuations. Highly recommend this to any Fulltime RV Liver who has power supply issues due to bad weather, unstable power grid or just want to get out and OFF the grid.

First time generator owner

Opened the box and it took only a few minutes to mount the feet and wheels. It took more time to fill the oil and fuel then the assembly. Start up instructions were clear and direct. Only one small issue, didnt start right away and hoping its only bc the battery needs charging. have it charging and will check on it after an hour. Four starts is because i have to wait to see if it starts. then will check the auto and remote start features.

WGen9500DF

My mother bought this for me as a Christmas gift due to Texas bad weather. The generator was securely packaged and easy to put the remaining pieces together on it. The gas and propane function will come in very handy as well as helping to power my other storage banks when bad weather comes.

Best Generator I've bought

this generator is awesome. Powers my whole RV with no problem and the runtime is amazingly impressive. Run full tank of gasoline and switch to propane for a full days worth plus more of power. Plus the remote turn on and off puts the icing on the cake. Thanks Westinghouse!!!

The best I've had

I bought this a few months ago but haven't used it until the recent ice storm. My power was out for nine days. This thing is a work horse. It powered my whole house. The only thing I didn't run was my heat pump. I have a woodstove for heat. It ran all lights, tvs, computers, kitchen stove and even the oven, Electric water heater and water pump.I was totally surprised at how powerful it is. The remote start is awesome too. Its very good on gas. On a lite load it lasted almost twelve hours on a tank. It is relatively quiet compared to my old one.I am beyond satisfied with it. Money well spent.

Great features that meet our needs

Recently purchased this nice compact powerful unit. It will meet our power needs during an outage which you can count on in NC. I appreciate the duel fuel feature. Easy to move from point A to point B with the lift handle, no problem finding a spot for it in our garage.

Tri-fuel is awesome

I really wanted the natural gas option. I have been hit by multiple hurricanes including Katrina (no power for 6 weeks). Finding gas after a hurricane is a nightmare but I always had natural gas. Now I won't have to worry about stock piling or trying to find gas for the next hurricane.

new purchase

Just received shipment of this Wgen9500df generator. Assembly was very easy and only required minutes. Once oil and fuel were added, I connected the quick-attach wire socket to supply battery power . Turned fuel valve on, battery toggle on, tried remote start first.Cranked and ran like a new machine should. Tested all outlets with droplight and everything seems ok. Although I haven't used it as a power source as of yet, this unit seems to be in good working condition and should supply plenty of power to my house for all necessary needs. Arrived cosmetically good other than a cross member brace between front and rear roll cage near gas tank location. Brace was pushed in toward gas tank, but barely missed the tank. Would need pulling force to straighten back, but don't want to force it due to breaking spot welds on each end. Ran smooth, no vibration and stayed in place. Would have rather had hard rubber tires instead of plastic, but overall, a nice unit. However, we'll see when it's put to use. I recommend turning the gas valve off and letting the engine stop once all fuel has burned out of carburetor to help prevent sludge forming in bowl . Of course fuel additive is necessary in all conditions since ethanol came along ! ( Just another brilliant idea from our so-called " govt. and oil industry EXPERTS" !!!!!! )
