This duel fuel works very well. It is easy to set up; just make sure you have a flexible tube funnel to add the oil and your are good to go. It is about as loud as any generator. I put it on a heavy duty garden cart with big wheels, so it is super easy to move. This is one of the best generators that has both 50 amp 240V and 30 amp 120/240V you will find that is portable.

I finally bought this unit after years of indecision on a generator. I decided on Westinghouse because of the 3 year warranty and after reading so many customer reviews. I set it up today, hooked it up to a propane can, and ran like a champ. I am expecting the best performance for years to come.

We bought this recently, and while we will be using it heavily at the end of the month we have just started it up. It took quite a few tries to get it started the first time, which caused us to think it was either broken or we missed a step. But after letting it try the battery (one-touch) start for 5 minutes it fired up and ran like a champ. I think they should leave a notice somewhere that this might occur and not to worry to make customers feel better or prevent returns. That said, other than having to buy an adapter to cover the 4-prong locking 30 Amp to a standard 3-prong camper 30 Amp it has a lot of great features. We were able to run the a 50-amp camper with the air cranked up no problem. The switch between propane and gas is so easily and seamless since you don't have to turn it off to do it. I hardly noticed it changed over since it didn't break a sweat. I do wish it was a little bit quieter, but for the power you get and the price (compared to an inverter which can be quieter at sometimes DOUBLE the price) I really cannot complain too much. Overall, a great purchase and we look forward to hopefully MANY years to come.

Bought this generator right after we lost our power for 4 days in an ice storm. I had borrowed one which could barely handle 2 small heaters and a lamp. Had to borrow a second larger one to handle another better heater, the freezer, large TV internet and refrigerator. Spent most of my 4 days lugging gas to fill both generators. Pulling those cords and adjusting the chokes. Well when this Westinghouse (dual fuel) arrived and after a quick review of instructions, I connected a propane tank, simple connection of battery wire, point fuel to propane and press the button on the little remote and poof, it started without me having to adjust or pull anything. Awesome! Plugged in about 6 items in the garage without a whimper from the machine. Love it, feel safe using it, for the size and weight it is easy to move with the big wheels and handle (and I am 69 years old). Definitely 5 stars and will be praising it with my friends and family.

I came very close to purchasing a less expensive, gasoline generator last week. In fact, if they hadn't been out of stock, I probably wouldn't be leaving this review. I cannot begin to tell you how glad I am that they were. My new WGen9500DF is absolutely amazing. The quality and features of this generator are second to none. We purchased for a back up generator. It arrived on time the directions were clear and to the point. I setup the unit and followed the provided directions had it up and running in about 30 minutes. Very nice unit I would recommend to other home owners. Would purchase again.

We received our generator that we ordered after Hurricane Beryl. We followed the quick start guide to set up the generator, generator started up and ran for about 30 min to make sure no issues occurred. We are now prepared the next time we are in need of generator power.

Have owned this gen set for a month and I have kicked myself for not buying it sooner. I have had 0 problems since owning this generator and it runs my entire house. It was well packed on a pallet, with no dings or issues, and figured out how to put it together per the instruction manual. I love the remote starter key and am completely impressed with the quality of this product. It is very cost-effective.

Generator works great after I finally got it to start. Surprisingly, it starts quicker on propane than it does gas. I drained the battery trying to start it on gas (over 50 degrees outside) with choke and no choke, so I'm thankful it comes with a trickle charger that can be left plugged in overnight. I finally hooked up a propane bottle and it fired up immediately (no choke) at 33 degrees. Once started on propane, I have had no problems starting and running on either propane or gas - it definitely needs to be choked for cold starting on gas. The remote start is nice but I'll probably never use it - my wife will, lol! The enclosed operating manual is easy to follow. It is also a very simple 10 - 12 minute procedure to change the bonded ground wire on the inside of the alternator if needed as we did here at the ranch because of the GFCI plugs. After we got it up and running, we methodically started turning things on in the house without any issues. We have a 3300 sq. ft. (3 BR, 3 bath) house and ran the freezer and refrigerator, fire place blower/fan, had a light on in every room, a light in three closets, a light in all three bathrooms, and ran two electric space heaters, TV and the microwave - never had an issue. This unit is easily set up within minutes. I really only have two issues: 1) It was very hard to get started on gas the first time so I recommend starting on propane and you can easily switch from propane to gas and gas to propane while running, and; 2 (It takes forever to fill up because the screen on the fuel tank is so restrictive. That being said, after running now for two days, I would likely buy this product or one size bigger if I need another one. Quick and easy to put the wheels and feet on the unit. Mac at the ranch
