So far so good

I just received this generator to use as an emergency backup for my home. Once I got it, it was fairly simple to put the wheels on - although it is very heavy to maneuver while doing so. I was able to test it and it started right up after I added oil and connected to propane. Good looking until and well built. Slightly worried about that the power it produces will not be "clean" enough to charge my laptops or power a TV without risk of damage. Time will tell. Overall, happy with the features and love that it's dual fuel.

Great product

I bought this in January and I'm using it's pretty regular the only problem I see is with the CO sensor and it will shut my generator off even in an open area with the wind blowing. Other than that I can run it about 627 hours and only use 324 gallons of gas and it runs fine.

Simple to use, easy to set up

This is a very nice generator. Assembly is straight forward, and operation is easy with the push button start. The included and integrated battery charger is a nice feature that will ensure it is always charged, and I like the flexibility of the duel fuel. Having the convenience of using propane or gas is a really nice feature that will help to ensure fuel is always on hand

Very good

I recently purchased this unit after 2 generators from different manufacturers. I had to return the previous 2 due to quality issues. This one started immediately and runs great. The quality of the unit is evident with plenty of power and great features. Happy with my purchase.

Excellent quality

We purchased this generator so that we would be more prepared in case of hurricanes etc. We researched a lot of different items and found this one to be the best. It arrived quickly, was well packaged, is easy to maneuver, and has great quality parts.

Whole house generator

We purchased the WGen 9500DFc to replace or 16 year old generator. As we have gotten older we need to be able to power more of the them we were doing using extension cords. After doing the research we chose the Westinghouse, it is large enough to power what we need. With it be dual fuel it also gives us 2 way to power the generator.

Heavy, but easy to put together by yourself

I've had the generator for about a month now, I live in Southwest Florida and my old generator wasn't powerful enough to run my whole house. I was able to set this up by myself even though it was pretty heavy. I have 3- 40lb propane tanks and a couple gas cans to run dual fuel. Very happy with how it runs!

Great Home Backup!!

I had a transfer switch intstalled on the house and use the 30 amp outlet to power all my essentials. I can power my gas furnace, 3 freezers, 1 refrigerator, gas stove, and well pump with plenty of wattage to spare for extras. Super easy to use and fired right up after oil fill. And starting and stopping the generator with a wireless fob is a must for the wife when its cold outside!

Runs good, once it starts

**As a start, I'd like to say that I genuinely believe this product will be good once I have the issues resolved** Finally had a chance to actually test this. It runs amazing once it runs. Battery was DOA and isn't revivable, it won't take a charge and hold it. Not sure if the remote fob works, won't turn the unit off even when running (should work when it's on cause the alternator should be powering up that receiver, so I don't think it's synced, probably cause the battery died and there's no CMOS to keep the sync active). I also cannot pull start it with gasoline, yes I ensured to switch the fuel valve on, and turn the dial to gasoline. I can only get it to run on gasoline if I start it on propane, then switch it to gasoline, then cut off the propane from there. Crap process for a brand new machine. Hoping customer service won't be too difficult. Will update the review once I have gotten this worked out.

very impressive generatror

Didn't purchase this WGen9500DF until I watched a number of Youtube videos that showed setup and operation. I saw so many features that didn't come with other generators I was considering so I decided to give it a try and very glad I did. I removed it from the carton, installed the front stands and wheels, added the included oil and then filled it with gas. That's it! Turned the fuel valve to on, toggled the power switch and then pushed the start button. Surprisingly it started on the first push. I highly recommend.
