I purchased this unit a few weeks ago. First impression was great quality. Well built and thought out for ease of use and startup. The instruction manual is very good and easy to understand. Initial startup was complete and running in 30 minutes. All of the features are well arranged on the control panel. The dual fuel is a great option to have in the event gasoline is not available due to loss of power in the area. This allows you to have two fuels available for longer running times. The ECO mode is good in that it operates the unit in a fuel conservative mode extending run times. The size of the unit is easily managed considering the output capacity. Other units of this size are much larger and heavier. The additional output plugs will allow you to run the unit on lower current systems and still be protected from overloading circuits. The price is very competitive as well. A good value for all you get in an emergency open frame generator.

I spent five months researching generators and settled on this model. The versatility of using two different fuels is really nice. The machine itself is well constructed and has a ton of features on it. It has ample amount of outlets in addition to the 30amp and 50amp connections. It starts up nice and easy with the remote control. During its first run the very day I picked it up, it was a pleasant experience. Very efficient and quiet for a machine of its size. I would recommend this machine to anyone who wants the ability to have backup power.

Picked this unit from three different ones I researched for over a weeks time. Reason I went with Westinghouse was for a few things, warranty, reviews, dual fuel and key fob start. This thing is a Beast, running on propane tested with water pump coming on and the central air going, along with most everything else turned on in the house Fridge 2 of and a freezer it didn’t skip a beat whatsoever!! I plan to switch to natural gas as I have that in my barn and don’t plan running it on gasoline. Delivers all the punch to maintain the house with no worries. I would recommend this wgen9500df to anyone that wants a generator, this one is amazing!!

I'm very happy with this purchase. I have used it twice so far and its has powered everything we needed. I like the dual fuel option. Its somewhat noisy but I knew that from other reviews. I had a small issue with the automatic choke, and the customer support was great and help straighten out. Great performance and support at a reasonable price.

My unit had problems with the starting switch when it was delivered. After a couple of attempts with different switches at the warranty center, they could not resolve the problem. They replaced the entire unit without any cost. It was time consuming to go thru the proccess, but I am satisified with the effort and results that Westinghouse put forth. I now have a backup generator that is meeting my needs.

I bought this for our home that goes through a ton of power outages, even in the modest of windstorms. I have only read positive reviews for westinghouse generators and can't wait to run it. Set up was easy and the dual fuel gives me options for fuel, if I'm ever in a pinch. We have had too many instances where we needed a generator and now that we have a new baby girl, this generator gives us ease of mind to keep the house warm and our food safe.

The builder of our home pre-installed an exterior access point for generators to connect to the power main. I wanted a portable generator with enough power to power most, if not all, of the house. I chose this model because of its 50 amp output and dual fuel capability. The assembly instructions were very easy to follow, in well-written English. Assembly, by myself, took less than a half hour.

Bought after storm Helene struck this area and I was out of power for 5 days. If this device is as good as the way it was packed for shipping I will be OK. Easy to put together, wheels and 2 stands. One person with a little muscle can handle that. This generator looks like it can handle a situation like that. Wish I had been proactive instead of reactive.

Tri Fuel means that I can hook up to my houses natural gas. 50 amp outlet means that in a power outage I can still have well water, heat, refrigeration and other essentials. Easy to assemble and operate. Started up on the first try with propane 20lb tank.

I'm really impressed with the power and great features this generator has to offer. Such as remote and push button start, the option of using gas or propane, 6.6 gallon fuel tank for a long runtime, and a meter to display voltage, frequency, and total run time with maintenance reminders just to name a few. This machine has got it all!
