Nice and clean looking interface

Bought three months ago and had to use it once. Works fantastic and love the multiple fuel options. Only issue I did have was some corrosion build up was on the negative terminal on the batter. Simple fix was just brushing it off and it looked like new. Also my favorite color is blue so that's a plus for me.

Great Generator.

I bought this generator to be ready for the hurricane season. I tested it and it runs very nice providing all the power I need. It is easy to handle and the instructions are clear to set it up. It covered 100 percent my expectations. I recommend strong recommend this product.

Amazing and powerful

I bought this a couple of months ago to hook up to my power pole in case of an outage. I haven't had an outage yet but since have used it with a blower around the property and a welder. All the power I need with a 220 amp stick welder. I am also looking into the smart start switch which automatically starts when the loss of purchase power. Really like this machine. The only thing is when it is super cold, you have to manually choke it until it starts.

Great Dual Fuel Generator!

We bought this generator a month ago. We're using it for power outages and has worked great so far. The dual fuel option is great and have only been using it with propane. It's powerful enough to get the whole house going with a sump pump, 2 fridges, several lights, air fryer, toaster, etc... We do live over 5000 feet so we had to purchase the high altitude kits. Called in to Judy and she pointed us in the right direction; just purchased the kits online!

Flexible and Easy to Assemble

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this model. I like its flexibility - 3 ways to start and 3 options for fuel for a reasonable price. It arrived yesterday and I was able to assemble it myself (I am a 70 year old woman). It was fun! The instructions were clear and the packaging was well-designed.

Easy Setup

Was easy to setup and impressed with multiple starts and no choke. Did not open gas line (should have read instructions closer) and first attempt timed out. Reread instructions opened gas line, pushed button and fired right up. Hook up to transfer switch for an outbuilding which includes ac unit and water well. All worked great.

Exactly what I needed, and requested.

Living in Texas all my life I felt I was prepared for most any unexpected event. Last February proved me to be wrong. I now realize that a cord of wood would not suffice (especially when you are helping your friends and family out too) when the power fails for over a week, and your home is total electric. With low temperatures at a record breaking -4 across the Dallas area, inside temps were as low as a frosty 43 degrees ... I realized I was NOT prepared. After this unprecedented event finally cleared I spent a week researching alternative power sources and finally selected my new WGen 9500DF. I could not be more pleased knowing that whatever nature or other unexpected events comes our way ... electrical power will never again be a shortfall on my part. It is also not uncommon for Texas to experience some power issues in the middle of our typical summer season too, but with our new Westinghouse DF generator maintaining power to our fridge, freezer and AC we are good to go ... and with a Xfer switch it is a simple hook up too. The 9500 DF is packed with many features to make those unexpected power issues a little more tolerable, including my new best friend ... remote start.. Thanks Westinghouse ... your new lifetime customer. (LB)

Excellent generator

Reviewed multiple generators before purchasing the WGen9500DF. Ordered online and was able to install within 30 minutes. After I installed it, I hooked up the propane and turned on with the push start. Now I'm ready for the infamous Texas Freeze and wild hurricanes here in the Gulf coast. Met all my expectations and some!

Easy Starting

Arrived in good shape. Installed the wheels, skid pads, oil and gas. Plugged in the battery. Turned on the power and gas, pushed the start button and started immediately. Ran it for 30 minutes, smooth as can be. If seems to be solidly built. Hopefully it will last a long time. So far I'm pleased. Time well tell.

Built Solid

I bought this at the end of last years hurricane season and just broke it in for the next one. I've run it for about 3 hours on propane in my break-in cycle and changed the oil a couple of times. The only assembly was attaching the wheels and feet which only took a couple of minutes. I took the spark plug off to put a bit of oil in so I didn't dry start and that was easy. I also changed the oil a few times inbetween cycles which was also easy. Started right up the first time each time. Your not going to fit a standard oil pan under it and it is a bit to heavy to lift for an oil change. I just used a small rectangular piece of Tupperware that was looking rank anyway and it worked great.
