I just received this generator a couple of days ago and have been busy setting it up and seeing out it works. The documentation was easy to follow and it was easy to set up. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and operate. I now don't have to worry about going without power again.

We have been waiting patiently to purchase the WGen9500DF because it was out of stock everywhere. It was worth the wait!!! It has the power to power my entire house in case of an electric outage. The registration process was short, simple and easy. Tested the gas and propane and it met my expectations. Do not hesitate to purchase this product!

4 stars because I just bought it and haven't had to put it to a real test yet but it looks like it is made well. First thing, I filled it with oil and connected a propane tank. It started with just a push of the button and ran smooth. I plugged in a toaster oven and it worked as expected. I'm happy with it so far.

I just got the generator and am impressed with the features and choice of receptacles. The key fob is a convenient plus. The dual fuel option really makes it a true standby for anything generator because I always have 20 lbs tanks of propane around that never goes stale, and sometimes getting gasoline can be a problem with a major power outage. The frame is robust as I would expect for a heavy generator. It is not as quiet as the generator in my motorhome, but I did not expect it to be. After putting it together and filling the engine with oil, I ran it on propane to test it. Using the key fob to start it, it started on a cold day in the 20's on the second crank. After letting it warm up, I loaded it up with 1000 watts of lighting, a 1500 watt heater, and a 15 amp (1800 watt) air compressor. I never noticed any strain at all and the volts and hertz on the meter remained consistent, no dips. I am very pleased with my purchase. Two things to note though. (1) The 1.16 qt bottle of oil was not quite enough oil to get a good level on the dipstick, so I had to go buy an extra quart to top it off. (2) I really wish the wheels had rubber tread like you see on push lawnmowers rather than the hard plastic tread. I'm kind of a sceptic on the longevity of the wheels. Time will tell if the wheels hold up.

Great unit, minimum assembly, oil included, tri-fuel. Haven't had to run it under a load for any length of time yet. I would like to find a longer Nat Gas Line so I won't have to extend the gas pipe in my garage. I bought it because friends that had them recommended the brand.

This product has so so many great and easy to operate features. Best feature is the generator is”mobile!” It has a pull handle and two large sturdy wheel which makes it super easy to move around.(Girl friendly feature!). It is easy to start because it has a push button start (another girl friendly feature—no pull crank start!!!) We are prepared for power outages and won’t be without electricity — freezers and refrigerator will be running and so will our A/C which is a huge plus here in Texas!

I bought the WGen9500DFc because it has enough power to run my Central AC and that it had a push button start. My old Honda was smaller and had a pull start but at my age I didn't want to pull out my back again starting it. The assembly and start up was a simple procedure and the unit is more than capable of powering my central air and major appliance. Best purchase I have have in a long time

Bought the generator last month and it arrived as scheduled and was in perfect condition. Easy to assemble the few parts. Read through the excellent manual and it fired up on the first push of the starter. Everything works perfectly. It seems to be a high quality machine. I would heartily recomment it.

I have spent quite some time replacing a generator that went out during the last storms and I wanted something more durable, sturdy with tri fuel capabilities. That also could be attached to a transfer switch at my home for a few circuits that need to stay running. Was getting tired of just running extension cords and I’m looking for a better solution. This generator will allow me to continue the old process while I hook up the natural gas line and the transfer switches. The only minor issue is the length of the supplied natural gas line seems inadequate for most applications when you’re trying to keep your generator away from your house. All in all I would buy this generator again, and I am quite pleased with a little things that they did. Like including the oil and a very proper funnel to put the oil in easily, the attention to detail was good.

I really am impressed with this Westinghouse generator. I did a great deal of research on what generator to purchase and the 9500DF was very well reviewed. when I received the generator it took only 30 minutes setup time and I had it running. A very solid product. I had a question for technical support and they answered within 8 minutes and answered my question. I am very happy with this purchase.
