I just received this generator to be able to provide backup power to our house. The generator was packaged well. It was easy to put together and once I added the oil (included) and gasoline it fired right up. I can't comment on longevity or power yet. So far everything is good.

I purchased this generator in October 2020. It arrived in excellent condition with all parts and accessories as advertised. The generator started without any issues, I used propane as the fuel. The directions for assembly were easy to understand and assembly was also very simple. I have used it once already due to a power outage in November 2020 and it worked great. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a back up generator for there home.

I just bought this. It was delivered today. I put it together today with no problem only took me about 30 mins. Came with oil and funnel which was nice to add the oil. Also came with a charger for the battery which I most of overlooked buying this so bonus for me. Started right up with no issues. I am using this to keep the house powered up. It seems like our power goes out all the time so now I have a backup for this. I liked it so much I also told me friend and now she bought one also. I like the dual fuel. I plan to run a line to my 80lbs tank as a backup.

I bought the Westinghouse WGEN 9500 DF several weeks back because I wanted to replace a generator I’ve had for a number of years. This generator no doubt is a great generator. It is amazing with the options/ features that it has. I highly recommend this generator.

cast iron sleeve for long life , like the commercial units, remote start for weekly run test in comfort of my home, i dont have to go outside. i leave it permanently installed in a small generatot storage building, with a name like Westinghouse i figure it must be good, Westinghouse builds the generators that run our cities if anybody knows how to build a generator its westinghouse!

Following the provided instructions and provided tools, the generator was easily assembled. I was pleased to find that the necessary attachments to connect to a propane tank were provided. The generator started on my first attempt and completely powered all the 120 volt systems of my house plus one 240 volt system.

We live in south west and in the summer time it hits a 119 degrees when the power goes out you better have a Westinghouse 9500dfc generator. I run my air-conditioning and refrigerator and a small freezer with no problem. I love this generator i never worry about the power going out anymore. Everyone should have one of these thanks Westinghouse.

We purchased this generator and it came with everything you need. Most other companies make you purchase these things separately. It came with the battery, wheel kit, rubber feet, oil, tool kit, propane line hose with regulator, key fob, 3 year warehouse, battery tender, chassis ground, pull start and automatic start, duel fuel, 20, 30 and 50 amp outlets and more. Very happy!

Generator arrived last week and today had the electrician install the transfer switch and connections. It fired up right away on first try with LP portable gas tank. Tested the transfer from the main panel to the transfer switch with no problems. Was able to run 2.5 ton A/C, TV, Internet, Cable box, 2 fans and lights with ease. Now, just have to wait and see how it functions when we actually have to use it for a extended period of time during a power outage. So far, very happy with my purchase.

It's also produced and backed by a well known company with a long established reputation for quality and reliability. Delivery was also well executed with the generator arriving on time and in perfect condition. I chose to have a licensed electrician install an exterior 50 amp connection box and a manual transfer switch in our home's main electrical panel so I could reliably power essential circuits on my interior sub-panel. Now I have the peace of mind knowing that my family will be safe and better provided for should we experience another extended power outage.
