Looked at several videos and reviews and this was an easy choice. Has everything I need and more. Plan on only using propane and the price point made it easy to buy a couple of 30 lb tanks and everything to hook up to the house. The first start attempt on propane failed and after double checking everything, the second attempt worked fine. Very happy with the purchase.

This generator was exactly what I was looking for. Love the dual fuel option. You can even switch fuel types while the generator is running which I didn’t know. It’s easy to maneuver once the wheels are installed. The remote start is also a nice touch. I am using mine with an interlock kit. The 50 amp outlet it comes with really makes it viable to power all the essentials in a power outage situation.

First, I have to complement the easy to read manual with all the proper setup instructions and maintenance manual. This product is boxed without the wheels attached and was easy to assemble those few parts. Rolls smoothly. This will be most important to me as part of my hurricane supplies, & great that it is dual fuel as these resources can be very hard to find just before or after a disaster. I also like that the outlets have rubber weather covers on them especially fir outlets that will not be in use.

I have not used this generator yet. I got this as a clearance item. All of the reviews seems good. I live in Florida and have been looking at getting a generator for some time. This seems to be a good value. The dual-fuel option is my favorite part.

Living in Texas all my life I felt I was prepared for most any unexpected event. Last February proved me to be wrong. I now realize that a cord of wood would not suffice (especially when you are helping your friends and family out too) when the power fails for over a week, and your home is total electric. With low temperatures at a record breaking -4 across the Dallas area, inside temps were as low as a frosty 43 degrees ... I realized I was NOT prepared. After this unprecedented event finally cleared I spent a week researching alternative power sources and finally selected my new WGen 9500DF. I could not be more pleased knowing that whatever nature or other unexpected events comes our way ... electrical power will never again be a shortfall on my part. It is also not uncommon for Texas to experience some power issues in the middle of our typical summer season too, but with our new Westinghouse DF generator maintaining power to our fridge, freezer and AC we are good to go ... and with a Xfer switch it is a simple hook up too. The 9500 DF is packed with many features to make those unexpected power issues a little more tolerable, including my new best friend ... remote start.. Purchased this generator as a home back up power source. It will run all the essentials and has proved to be a grand purchase. Starts and runs well on gas, however, starting on propane very difficult and causes backfire. Once started on propane, runs great.

I upgraded from an old generator that I converted to tri fuel that just doesnt have enough power to backup my whole house, and what an upgrade this is. Easy to setup, started using the propane with remote start on first attempt, tons of features and the power output is fantastic. Really looks and operates like a next gen product compared to the traditional style gas generator. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at having a real home backup power solution but that doesnt want to install a traditional fixed in place type solution.

So far, I like the product. The assembly was straightforward. It has a five-hour break-in period, so I have run it that long to prepare it for the real thing. I question the value of the remote start/stop because you still need to turn the battery switch on and off. However, I love that it attempts to start three times automatically through the start button or the remote. That is a nice feature. Mine came with many scratches on the frame, more than I like. I need to reach out to support and see what that is about and how to address it.

Generator was delivered in sturdy packaging. Well packed and thought out as to order (manuals and accessories easy to find and access on top). Comes with basic tools to put together and maintain. Easy assembly - two feet with two bolts each and two wheels with axle, spacer, and cotter pin. Filled with supplied oil, connected supplied battery, connected propane bottle with supplied hose and regulator, pressed start and POWER! Very good first impressions.

I just got this set up today and cranked it up; runs like a champ. Plugged in a few tools and things and they all worked fine. I plan to use it for major power failures, as we have lost power for up to 2 weeks after the last few hurricanes. I am confident it will do the job.
