So far it's working well. Push button/remote start is great. Run's well on both gas or propane. Have put a 5,000+ watt load on it without issue. Just a slight dip/return in RPM when a device is powered up. Only drawback is it's weight over 200 lbs and the plastic wheels are already showing signs of straining from the weight. When unboxed we discovered one of the top frame rails was bent. Not quite touching the gas tank. We accepted the generator with the damage because it did not affect the operability.

Purchased this generator in anticipation of potential PG&E power shut-offs in California in an effort to prevent further wildfires. Had it installed just in time before the first one occurred. I was able to run our home refrigerator/freezer, home office and a few lights off it, perfectly with little interruption. The push button starter and remote on/off made things very easy to operate.

I bought this on the 19th and it was delivered today 9-22-23. setup was easy and within 2 hours it was running. However, no power at any of the outlets. Called customer service, on hold for 17 min. and then rep. comes on and tells me it will be 12 to 24 hours before anyone can get back to me. Really disappointed. "so much for the performance test" before it leaves the factory.

Bought the unit a couple months ago. Followed break in etc. At about 60 hours it started randomly shutting off. Now, it usually takes at least a half dozen attempts to do more than come up to voltage/speed and die...assuming it gets running, it randomly shuts off...maybe 5 minutes, maybe 30 - either way it is a real PITA.

I bought this generator about a month ago. It was delivered to my house within a few days of purchase. It has every feature you can imagine (including a push button electric start) and it was simple to put together and get set up. I love that it can run on gas or propane.

I purchased this generator after lots of research. I had to wait almost 3 months, after I got the cables and plugins installed to use it on my house, for a power outage. We had power out after a 60 mile an hour wind storm, and it performed beautifully. I am so impressed with how it is so well heavy duty built. The controls are simple, love that it has a gas shutoff and electric start. I had the entire house on it except the hot water heater, then shut off a few things to allow the water to get hot then removed it from the load. The integrated handle makes it easy to move around with its big wheels. The large 6.6 gallon gas tank allows it to run all day. I've had three other generators and this one is by far the best and last I will ever own... Thanks

Generator arrived well packaged, undamaged and with all parts and accessories including engine oil and battery charger. Easy assembly and well written instructions. Have not run generator yet but appears ready to go out of the box after putting on rear wheels and front foots.

I bought my generator because I live in Florida and this is the Hurricane season. a friend purchased this model and it helped him through the last power loss. I love the fact that I'm able too use either gas or propane. I had it wired into my panel box and it will give me power though-out my house. This model has all the bells and whistles.Westinghouse thought of everything

I bought this about a month ago and so far am very happy. Really good price for the size of the unit, can nearly power my whole house with this one unit and for a fraction of the price of the whole home generators. Fuel consumption is impressive for its size.

The Westinghouse WGEN 9500 DF portable generator is perfect for power outage emergency use for the home. I recently lost power at my house and I was able to have power for myself and my parents. With the built in handle and wheels it was easy for me to move the generator to a safe distance away from the house. The remote start feature came in very handy so I wouldn’t go out in the rain and cold weather. The fuel efficient motor allowed for my peace of mind as it was able to last overnight. The generator also came in handy when I was upgrading the electrical panel that took several hours.
