Just bought this generator a few days ago and I'm really impressed! It was super easy to assemble and get started. It started right away on the first try and has been working perfectly for thje last few days. So far, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it! (I have very bad experience with generators from other companies)

This generator is excellent in handling power outages compared to more expensive ones that cannot handle what this one does. I ran it today with 2 freezers and a refrigerator hooked into the 30 amp feed. I connected each one per the manual and didn't even hear any surge as they were connected. This tells me the generator is powerful. It also has 4 20 amp connections as well

I just bought it. It will be hooked up next week. I hope it lives up to the Westinghouse reputation. My only criticism at this point is that it is way too heavy for an old lady to consider it 'portable.' But, if it gets me through the power outages, I'll be happy.

I bought back in February 2026 and I never needed to use it. Now we are in August 11 2026 storms have taken out our electricity I'm using and it works perfectly. Put the required oil in and hooked up a propane tank. Flipped the battery switch and pressed the remote start and first crank. Runs like a champ and need to get the 50 amp hook up ready for whole house power. Best Buy ever. Definitely would recommend.

I bought the 9500df in November of 2020. I took it out of the box to check for damage and to put the wheels and feet on. I put it in the corner of my garage and it kinda got buried. Didn't even put the oil in it until August 2026. The battery was dead, (no use for almost 6 years)and I had no way to jump it. Had to pull start it. Minimal effort and it started. It ran off and on for 4 days on propane. After After about 21 hours of running the battery charged up and I was able to use the push button start. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this this generator to anybody!

Purchased this after much research and the recommendation of my electrician. We didn't need a fully automatic standby generator because we are year round residents. I wanted one I could turn on from our house- the remote satisfied this need; and we wanted to tap into our existing 500 gallon propane tank. This one checked all the boxes. Now we've got to wait for the power to out. I'm happy to wait.

Just bought this after the Hawk fire left us without power or water for 4 days. Not doing that again. This generator showed up earlier than expected, just too late to help with the fire. So far I am impressed with it. Came with everything except the fuel and a chord to connect to the house, which is to be expected. the only thing i would ask to change might be the wrench they send to bolt the feet on with is a 10mm/13mm wrench. It would be nice if it was 10mm for the foot bolts and then the right size to connect the propane hose with. Other than that, I started it and ran for a few minutes. This thing is fairly quiet for a generator. So far so good!

This unit quit giving power through the extension cord after just a half hour of 1st use. i had pugged in a second item into the power strip and everything turned off. I've tested the extension cord and power strip with power from my house now that I got my power back and everything works perfectly. I attempted to test to see if the generator would work but it still is not providing power to the extension cord.

Westinghouse 9500/12000 W the great equipment... Very nice...

I bought this a week ago. It started on the first try. Runs well on propane. I can't wait to see what all it can run in my house. Very happy with the purchase and the price.
