I recently took delivery of a WGEN9500DF and am completely pleased with it. The advertisements praising its abilities are accurate and the ease of operation is very simple. The unit powers my 2300 sq. ft. house with ease while being very fuel efficient and queit. I have already recommended the unit to my neighbors and friends.

This actually has understandable instructions for ltd. assembly and for starting and usage. Very "woman" friendly. I live in a mountainous area that loses power for week at a time in winter sometimes so this generator with a Generlink allows me to power the whole house rather than to be confined to fire heat and candles because it has large wattage to handle the job. PLUS it has a little remote control to start the unit with from the house. What a plus. I am SO happy. Oh, and a handle to moving this 300 lb unit is a snap whether you are big and strong or not!

Bought after several power outages for back up Haven’t had to use it in an actual outage yet, but have tested it and seems to easily handle everything needed to comfortably get thru an outage, with the exception of Air Conditioning Unit. Have found cold recoil start difficult.

I just had my house wired up with a power transfer switch and it easily powered my entire house. As per my electricians recommendation I should use either the AC, Electric Stove or Electric Dryer but not all three at the same time (1 of 3) and I will have no problems. It was using 40 of the 80 AMPs available. Both of us were impressed.

Shipping was painless. Dropped off at my door. Only negatives were that the frame was scratched on the bottom from the cardboard coming apart and the generator getting dragged across the floor somewhere. Also, one of the holes that the wheel axle threads through had a small metal stub that made it impossible to slide the axle through. It took a bit of filing, but I removed it and it's fine. Generator seems good, not great, quality so far. Started right up and runs fine. Happy with my purchase.

I bought the 9500DF to provide a backup source of power for our home....just in case. Have run it several time to test the dual fuel features and am happily impressed. Love the remote start feature. Knowing it’s a Westinghouse product from a US company with a stellar reputation, I can rest easy and check of one more major emergency preparedness to-do from the checklist.

I bought this generator two months before Hurricane Helene to use on my farm with a welder away from a power source. I never dreamed that a hurricane would hit this far inland in SC and have so much damage as a result of the winds. I didn’t even know how to start it when we needed it immediately after power was knocked out. It performed flawlessly for 10 days straight! I’m so happy with my purchase and I think you will be too. I’ve only used it with propane cylinders and I think that I will not use gasoline in it unless I have no other options.

I bought this item Saturday July 6th 2024. I got it and did a break in period on Sunday. Hurricane Beryl came in on on Monday July 8th. The generator worked just fine for the first 4 hours. Then I heard a shift in the sound of the generator and I lost the power to the 2 fans and refrigerator I had running off of it. The generator still runs, it doesn't give any electrical power though. It will occasionally com back and let some power through for 5 or 10 minutes. When it loses power the LED screen goes black and it trips the GFCI outlets. I have tried to get support from the website. I have heard nothing from them in over a week.

I received my generator in excellent condition and found it very easy to assemble. It was even easier to start it up, as it fired on first try. I ran a test run hooking the generator unto my house electrical system and "bingo", the generator powered the whole house (less the A/C). It is especially exciting knowing I can run the generator on either propane or gasoline. The electric start makes things so easy. I'm comforted knowing that I have back up power in case of emergency.
