Bought this dual fuel generator ahead of hurricane season since we live in an area which is prone to hurricanes/outages. Tested using both fuel options, including transitioning from 1 to the other--perfect. Feel we will be protected to run essentials if we lose power.

I live in Houston, TX and we have had some weather events that prompted this purchase (bought 5/31/24). I am gearing up for a storm in the gulf rn (Beryl) and feeling pretty ready with this genny. 4 stars for now bc it is sturdy and easy to understand. I had my house retrofitted to connect directly to my nat gas line for whole-house power. IF I need to use this, I will update my review based on experience.

This was purchased as a gift for me in September of 2021. It has never been in service. It only has 244 hours. It has only been started periodically to maintain everything. I have followed all the recommended Westinghouse procedures for storage. This is electric start. Why has the battery failed so soon? Shouldn’t the battery be under warranty? I have attached pictures. You’ll see in one that the factory installed protective tape is still on the outlets.

I haven’t gotten to use this product yet, but I bought it in preparation for future storms. As a Floridian, one can never be over prepared. Bought this particular generator for the 50A plug and dual fuel capabilities! Looking forward to an easy connection in the next big storm!

I live in rural Nova Scotia, Canada and we experience frequent power outages. I have it hooked into my panel via a 40 amp Generlink. This baby runs both fridges, the water and septic pumps as well as the hot water tank, water softener, lights and all the small appliances. I can also run the electric heat but only room by room.

This generator is simply awesome had everything needed including the battery and remote start fob. Very easy to assemble. Hooked it up to natural gas. The unit started right away and runs smoothly. Would highly recommend instead of spending thousands more.

I bought this generator at a bargain.the shipping company was very good and quick considering the ice storms in the area.the generator was a little hard to start on propane hopefully that changes once the engine breaks in. Was in good condition when delivered.the only negative is the wheels the right one rubs on the battery box

I am a contractor and have owned many generators this is my first dual fuel and I have tested every option on this generator , I am very pleased and impressed Every option is user friendly if I were to make one negative review it would be they ship and supply 1 quart of oil and it requires 1.16 quarts of oil check your manual

It works as advertised. I did purchase ethanol free gas to avoid that issue. Starts right up even with an empty carburetor. Advise: check all connections and nuts and bolts, as the feet weren't on tight. If you use it up against or close to anything, it will trigger the carbon monoxide shut down pretty quick. 5 stars if the bolts hadn't been loose.
